The 2022 class has a lot of talent from Texas so Jai should be able to have his pick of talent as long as Cal allows him to not have the same restraints as Justus.

This is what I found about Cason Wallace.
An Intro To Cason Wallace
Had the AAU season occurred this summer, there would have been no player in the 2022 class that would have risen more in rankings than Cason Wallace. A player I stumbled across when digging through U16 EYBL stats (he played up a year), Wallace is undoubtedly a 5-star prospect if you ask me. Though you won’t find that on the main sites (rivals is the highest on him at 89th), coaches are taking notice and seeing the potential Wallace has. He is now up to double digit offers, with the best of them being Texas Tech, Baylor and Auburn.
A prototype point guard, yet some don’t even see him as a point guard. Wallace stands around 6’3 with what looks to be anywhere from a +3 to +5 wingspan and broad shoulders that should hold plenty of strength. Though he isn’t the fastest athlete or a guy with the best vertical in the gym, Wallace is a better athlete than given credit for. He has excellent balance and his ability to change direction on a dime really stands out. His best trait is probably his ability to decelerate into a quick acceleration. It shows when guarding point of attack, navigating around screens and performing crossovers. The deceleration especially shows as a pull-up shooter, which is arguably his best overall skill at this point.
His ability to put weight on his knees to decelerate is extremely impressive. Combine that with his shooting touch and higher release, and you get a really high ceiling as a pull-up shooter. Wallace also has impressive range for his age, as he has an easy power transfer and shows strong ability to shoot off numerous types of set-ups, including step-backs, side-steps, forward momentum and a quick catch-and-shoot release with good shot preparation.
Projecting players at a young age isn’t always the easiest because of how many different things can happen in a 3-year span, but Wallace looks like at worst a good 3&D guard who has a ceiling much higher than being talked about. I haven’t watched more than 30-35 players in the 2022 high school class, but I also haven’t seen more than 10 players better than Wallace. Cason Wallace is a 5-star POINT GUARD.

I’ll gladly lose SC, and gladly replace with Wallace. I’ve never felt good about Skyy; not that he isn’t quality - but that his recruitment just seems all over the place; like he is just out there willing to jump to the next best situation. Just my opinion. And seriously, I’m not sold on his talent. Maybe he’s elite, but I don’t know if I see that?

My worry on Clark is he came from California to Nashville and committed to one school, and transferred to another school before even playing a game. Seemed like a red flag to me. Maybe I read too much into it.
