Can you think of any guards out there that may have some interest in UK in the transfer portal? I mean, I'm sure almost every guard would be but I mean that has been linked to UK in any way, like Oscar was.
I was gonna post that this smells of Bruce Pearl being involved at some point. He and Auburn are a hot commodity right night. Flash in the pan so to speak.
But, Will Wade is a distinct possibility too.

Reading that story on KSR he also made it seem like he has lost confidence that he won’t be able to live up to being able to play for a school like UK. Especially after both of his injuries have seemed to slow him down. I still think that to make it sound better it’s exactly what @ralphdaltonfan said Cal and staff probably told him it would be best to look elsewhere!

Reading the interview on KSR was Clark paraphrasing what the UK staff told him and made it sound like his decision IMO.

Tigers it was. 1st base. I was a long relief also, but in college focused a lot at first base. Up to that point I played everywhere but mainly pitched. I wasn’t that good, dropped out of high school and worked my way back later. Was lucky to get looked at. Wanted it to be UK but couldn’t get enough to them in time and Memphis offered a decent amount of scholarship.
Nick Smith JR? Hell yes-wanted him back in Summer and over Clark. He's an elite talent but he's signed with the Hogs. Only way UK can get involved there would be if Musselman took another job which I don't see happening but never say never.
Won't matter what Clark side says. UK isn't going to disagree or argue. They made their decision and if you split up with someone and want it to happen, you could care less who got "Dumped" in public eye.

I never said he was a bad guy. This is an opinion board and I have every right to not appreciate an anonymous poster saying on various occasions that its a foregone conclusion that one of our Freshman is leaving after the season, and then while he's having a good game, say in the game thread "oops, maybe I was wrong! I hope so!" What kind of slop is that?

I always figured if we ran a 3 guard lineup again he would be the 5th guard behind Wheeler, Wallace, Fredrick and whoever replaced Sharpe because I expect him to leave. This year we didn’t even have that 5th guard we just moved a forward to the 3 spot. Not only that if your looking forward to his sophomore year you have Sheppard and likely Wagner coming in and Fredrick returns most likely do he could be 4th guy then.
This is the correct answer. Nobody told him Bledsoe, Booker, Quickley and Maxey all made the league anyway.
Carp was looking forward to him being here. This went from Cals 3rd best class to maybe his 2rd worst while at Kentucky. Lost 2 big ones in this class. This sucks.

Livingston stock going down it would be good to get a can't miss transfer guard to go with Wheeler, Fredrick and Wallace. Need four healthy ones and with Fredrick's situation we need two more good guards.
