Guy had a 6 page thread abusing Cal for playing Skal even one minute.

Even after the Florida game he said the kid will never be that good again.

This poster has not only deleted the thread but has closed his profile and slinked back into obscurity.

He's been fabulous the last 2 games but was equally as bad for most of the season before that. Cal continued to give him minutes as he should have. The only debate should have only been how many minutes. Hopefully he continues on the trajectory he's currently on.

A great man once said ,or maybe a handful of times, "Every player is on their own schedule, it takes some longer to figure it out" I think he also said they're not machines.

Skal has played great the last 2 games. He's got confidence in his shot, much more physical and ready to play tough inside to get a rebound and mix it up. I love how he's been playing.

I was down on him, I'll serve myself up some crow.

That said, I want to see how he responds if he doesn't get off to a good start and get confidence early in the game. I want to see if he reverts or steps up other parts of the game if his shot isn't falling. He can have a huge impact even if his shot isn't falling.

In short, let's take it easy and see how consistent he can be here on out. Last 2 games were huge steps forward for him. Very happy for the young man !

Moving Skal out, allowing him to play facing the basket was a great move by Cal.
His jumpshot was money today and he had 6 blocked shots.
Great confidence builder today. I hope it carries on for the next 4 weeks...

Yeah it's got to be something he does throughout the SEC and NCAA tournament for it to mean he's turned the corner. I'm praying he has turned the corner but it's too early to tell.

I can't believe Destroyou actually deleted his profile over this. That's insane.

Hey, I think most were down on him, but he deserved it. My God..........

Let's see how this plays out. I'll gladly eat a fat crow if this continues.......But it must continue.

This post has nothing to do with those who criticized Skal's play.

Hell, I did too.

But that thread was insane, guy challenged every single poster and he just kept looking so bad but he never stopped.

Skal's performance today was just icing on the cake Destroyou...

LOL!!!!!!

He's been sandbagging.

Seriously though, I don't want to get my hopes up prematurely, but his last two games are exactly what this team has been missing.

givin up on a freshman is moronic.
would it be fair to say most gave up on him being GOOD as a freshman rather than giving up on him? I think most of us became resigned to the idea that Skal wouldn't be contributing much THIS year; expected him back next season.

That's crazy that he deleted the the thread - guess he didn't want anyone to pull it up later on?
He was rather vehement about Skal though - even though most were arguing that Skal would need an extra year; that guy was downright ugly about it, and argued every small point with every single poster. It was nuts

Nobody is giving up on IB. Most just don't want him to shoot. He's awesome at every other aspect of the game.

I don't even mind him shooting, just not so much and higher percentage shots - drives me crazy when he jacks a two with one foot inside the arc.

Needs to drive and pull up for short jumpers.

94 pts was the most scored by UK all season.
I would argue it was UKs best all around gm. o the season.

Its scary to think what this team will look like Fri. Nite in Nashville (just a few hr. Bus ride) after another full week of practice and healing.

May God have mercy on the rest of college basketball from here on out.

I don't like when anyone shoots that shot but especially the guy who shoots 19% from 3. 15 foot or closer, fine. But why shoot a shot with the difficulty of a three with no extra reward?
