Love the pick and pop at the free throw line. LSU has no defense for it up to this point. Tyler will either bang the jumper or dump to Skal for the 10 footer. He has a lot of confidence goin the last couple games. Hope it continues. Could be perfect timing.

I mean the ones who were revelling in the "I told you so"s because their crappy attitudes towards him in December ended up prevailing.
I want all our cats to succeed. If a kid takes the minutes he's given and just isn't effective, I'm not angry at him for hurting the team - I'm feeling bad for him because he's a cat and I know for a fact that he wants to succeed more than anybody.

I am equally impressed with his defensive effort blocking shots, rebounding, and not fouling...
Cal has been sandbagging all year, saving Skal for the end of the season.

Since Cals tweek ... Skal is a brand new player. We will make a SERIOUS run if we continue playing like this. LOVE IT!
Who IS this guy? He is playing a masterful game, like he has done it every day for years. Someone has killed Skal. Cal found a way to take his skin, and put it on the body of Tayshaun Prince.

It's easy to be skeptical but he is rebounding well, 8 boards for the second straight game so this moght not be a fluke.

Glad Cal is playin him as a stretch 4 instead of low post 5. Never ever played that way in his past, A stretch 4 is the way he has always played.
[laughing] You are the worst. How many times did you denigrate the young man just in the last few weeks? Way too many to count. Every other post you were making was an attack on Skal.
Not to mention, half of the nonsense you were spouting off about had absolutely nothing to do with basketball and was personal as hell. Don't try to hop on the bandwagon now, coward.
I love how Skal has played these last two games. I still need to see more before I declare this version of him here to stay, but I'm glad that he's at least giving us something.
The only things I've really been rough on with him was his strength in the post on defense and rebounds, and the way in which we were using him offensively. Now he's starting to man up on defense, and we're allowing him to play to his strength as more of a face-up jump shooter on offense.
