According to reports, around 500 players didn’t even bother to vote. If the players end up not liking the deal...they need to simply look in the mirror.

More football is usually better, but not sure I like changing something that wasn't broken. Gonna mess with all the record books. More asterisks.

I don't believe they were trying to fix something that wasn't broken. The owners were trying get a halfway measure passed so it would be easier to introduce an 18 game schedule through the next CBA.

Not really a fan of the extended playoff format either, as it is typically the case that 2 of the teams in the playoffs don't seem to be deserving anyway. But I guess from time to time they are capable of surprising us (maybe Tennessee was an example this past year).
