This was kind of weird yesterday. But he was especially good in the role.

Gavin has been awesome. He's great on the field/court and his tiki's toks and Sir Henry Insta posts are on another level. However, first rule of mascots is never dress/undress in public. Can't happen, he went for the vanity

Meh, he's not Mickey Mouse. I think the world can handle knowing that the RU mascot isn't real.

It's actually a small group, not just one person.

And I second the notion never take off the head. It's like seeing Santa at the mall in the food court eating a slice. The kids will get disillusioned soon enough - need to foster the illusion as best we can.

I think the final game of his Sir Henry role is a perfect time to do something like this and should be a tradition. As for this being a group effort.. only have one from each class year.. thereby each year only one can reveal in the last game.

Yeah I thought it was a nice touch for him to show his face and be appreciated at his last game. You can tell from his facial expression how much it meant to him.

My Adult Daughter and I actually saw Mr. and Mrs. SANTA CLAUS having breakfast on a Christmas morning at the local ORIGINAL PANCAKE HOUSE.Looks like they worked hard all the previous night.
