From WV Metro News...

Over the last three games, WVU’s pared roster has been outscored by an average of 1.6 points per game. In the three games prior to the dismissal of Esa Ahmad and Wes Harris, WVU was losing by an average of 26 points per game.

With three regular season games remaining, how much success can the new-look Mountaineers enjoy?

May not get another win but I say they will stick their face in there and punch it out.

An unusual happening: Ahmad is looking worse while being absent (and team play improves) than if he was still playing.

That's not unusual. It's the same thing that happened at the beginning of last year when he was suspended.

I guess Huggy wasn't paying attention back then.

without those two (and Sags) you can see the attitude on the bench at an all time high this season. Guys are actually playing like a team instead of playing for their own benefit. Remember the "I'll fix it" year? Remember Nehlen's last year? Remember 2004 with Drew? Sometimes it only takes 1, sometimes one has a negative effect on all.

I was looking forward to Esa's return last season big time and thought, man with him back we are going to be a really good team. Then he came back and it was like WTF happened. Not even close. This dude should've been sent packing last year.

It only takes one player to screw things up, especially in Huggs motion offense, and we had two this season. Its amazing how once the two losers left, the younger players like McCabe looked better right away. I guess its easier to pass better when players are running the plays and are in the places you expect them in.

Didn’t matter whether those 2 were here or not the team still sucks without Konate. We beat a fading, falling apart, horrible, struggling TCU team in 3 overtime’s. We already had 2 Big 12 wins before those 2 were kicked off. We are 1-3 without them with a win vs a horrible fading team in 3 overtime’s at home. We still suck and Huggs substitutes every minute still.
