What would help WVU climb in the rankings if it beats TCU handily on Saturday?

#5 Michigan losing to Rutgers? Even in Piscataway, not going to happen.

#7 Oklahoma losing to Oklahoma State? Even in Norman, in the Big 12 anything is possible, but I’m not holding my breath.

#8 Georgia losing to visiting 6-3 Auburn? Maybe, but again not holding my breath that losing in Athens will happen.

#3 LSU losing to Arkansas, #4 Notre Dame losing at home to Florida State, #2 Clemson losing to host Boston College? Only when pigs are flying in a Hell frozen over.

Oklahoma State and Auburn are WVU’ best, but slim, chances to climb in the playoff rankings.

First, of course, WVU needs to play against the Horny Frogs the way it did in the first half against Texas Tech and all game -- with a running game it finally cranked up against the Longhorns -- against a damned good Texas team at home before 101,000 rabid fans and a sound system cranked up and amplified so high that dogs in El Paso and Albuquerque were howling.

Well, that would help the Big 12 champ's cause. But I'll believe it when I see it happen.

Hell, I'm to the point where I won't believe anything till it happens because college football, EVERY season, is so crazy.

Hell, even Alabama might lose. I don't know who or how, but there's only been 3 unbeaten teams in the Football Final Four and there's NEVER been an unbeaten national champ since the FFF started.

Just my 2 cents, but the UGA/Auburn game is always a hotly contested match-up. Forget the current records on both sides, Auburn will come in fired up to steal one between the hedges. I like UGA in this one, but it wouldn't surprise me if this one comes down to the last possession to decide the game.

I'd love to see OSU come out on top in Bedlam. Just don't know if they can hang for all 4 quarters with OU. Another great game this weekend.

I agree with ALLEN, if there is one game on Clemson's remaining schedule that might do them in the BC game might be it. I believe this game is at BC, right? Might be the edge that BC needs.

BC is beating Clemson. Look for it.

I assure you that Clemson is for real and will whip BC by more than 30 points. Clemson is strapped with cash and comes to play. The players live good and eat good. Toast and jelly..........20 times a day! Dabo is laughing at the opponents and is also laughing on his way to the bank. Only Alabama has a chance to stop the Clemson war machine. Alabama also flush with ca$h. Warez

They were lucky to beat Texas A&M and SU. Lost to a 4-8 Syracuse last Year. Lost to a Pitt in 2016 at home. They lose every year to somebody they should beat. They are a paper tiger.
