There is absolutely nothing ambiguous regarding the 2nd Amendment. All of our Founders were very clear regarding it, particularly, James Madison who wrote it. Jefferson was also very clear regarding the issue. He actually knew what was coming, and here we are.The 2A wording is ambiguous because of the first clause and how it was written. Why is it that liberals always omit the second clause, though, when arguing for greater gun control? Because that clause has no ambiguity whatsoever.
And, uh, do we not have federal laws in place restricting gun ownership for dangerous felons? So, again, the question still stands: What additional laws need to be put in place to correct the culture problem in your view? If the federal government passed a law today banning all firearms that the SCOTUS eventually rubber stamped, would that end or significantly reduce gun violence? Or, would it exacerbate the problem and lead to more violence and criminal behavior?
We are not Europe. We are Americans, and we are absolutely, a different people. America was never ever going to force our people to give up their individual right to bear arms. That was never in the cards, and not even in original state constitutions.
Rights come from God or Natural law, not a fking government.
