They need a qb who commits turnovers to take the pressure off their HC who makes mind numbing end of game play calls

I do feel sorry in a way that someone is having fun at the expense of Jeff Sims. While he may not be the P5 QB teams are looking for, he was a true team player.

After getting benched he obviously quit

He was so obviously ill prepared in the Maryland game he was throwing to spots with no Huskers within 10 square yards

Looked like he didn’t know the plays because he probably didn’t.

True team player? Couldn’t disagree more

Can you imagine what Simms highlight film from Nebraska must look like? I mean, it can’t be more than 30 seconds long and include more than 3-4 plays. While every other portal QB has several minutes of highlights with multiple TDs and big plays. I just don’t know how he could possibly sell himself to another P5 or G5 program?

It’s two plays:

Busted trick play (that we somehow called AGAIN later on in the season) vs Minn

Long run vs CU down by 4 scores

The Minnesota trick play was classic though. I've never seen someone pick up the ball so non-chalantly in the middle of the play. It's the same amount of urgency I have when playing catch with kids.

His NIL deal must have expired after the season because I would have thought that he would have hung on just for the money through the rest of the school year like Casey Thompson did last year.

They’re all 1yr deals, per NIL rules

I'm not sure he ever actually intended on playing football here.

Well, I figured there’s a couple 1st down plays you could throw in as well. Gotta pump up those numbers…

So a Twitter handle that lists Florida State QB names breaks a story about a benched QB going to their rivals as QB1. I think that stands on its own.

Based on that genius analysis, HH quit too and wasn’t a team player.

You are delusional. Wow what will be the next excuse for HH? He was abducted by the martians?

Man I just cant fathom taking it out on kids who are playing for nothing more than the love of the game. We need to put a stop to this kind of abhorrent behavior. ITS UNACCEPTABLE.

You believe sims was as dialed in in week 10 as he was in week 1?

I don’t.
This would imply he was dialed in week one. I don't wish him any I'll will and home he finds success elsewhere, but he wasn't the answer. From everything I saw he was a great teammate and a stand up dude.

You’re saying the brand new coaching staff couldn’t get their handpicked qb to dial it in for their Nebraska debuts?

Quite the accusation. Would be difficult to argue, however.
