I think I'm inclined to agree. 55% he goes to OM, 40% State, 5% chance he goes to USM to play next to his brother. Bag men in Hattiesburg, if you exist, now is the time.

See, this trip doesn't make a ton of sense. As a 5 star Miss. kid who has made up my mind, I would pick USC-West, CU-Boulder, or Texas to visit on my party weekend. There is less than a 5% chance he goes to USM.

Why don't more of these 5 star kids take OVs to Hawaii? For that matter, how is Hawaii not a perennial national title contender?

Showing my ignorance here, but schools aren't allowed to pay travel to get visitors there are they?

If not, flying is dang expensive.

Yes, schools can pay for the prospect on Official Visits

Hawaii does not have a well funded AD. In any case, they have long twigged to the visit Hawaii free scheme.

Somebody committed to football is not going to pick his school based on climate and beach access, especially knowing it will have him playing lesser competition out of the spotlight.

Why would Hawaii pay the expense to bring kids in who they have no real shot with?

.... 5% chance he goes to USM to play next to his brother.

Hahaha! I think you forgot a decimal point and a zero. Its more like .05%. And it's more like 45% MSU, 45% Bama and 9.95% UM. Mama don't want her baby falling out of windows like DTs tend to do at UM.

I don't understand why you rugbdawgs can't wait until a game is over to declare defeat...

Doesnt he have a brother on that team?

It seems like one high profile recruit has a half brother that plays at USM. Maybe that could be the reason he wants to visit Hattiesburg.

Yes.... Simmon's brother plays DT for USM. I think he was once committed to us but we pulled his offer before signing day.
Sounds like he's just going for a courtesy visit and to visit his brother. USM doesn't even have a head coach right now.

1) If by us, you mean Ole Miss as you should, he was never committed to Ole Miss.

2) If by us, you mean Mississippi State like we don't all get it by now, he was never committed to Mississippi State.

Keep on keeping on Sugar Daddy.

Dylan Bradley was committed to us at one time back in about the 2012 recruiting class. Maybe we didn't pull his offer. Maybe he just decommitted and signed with USM.

He was never committed to State. Although he had an athletic build, he was a bit undersized. I wish State Would have taken him even then. Good player. Now go log in somewhere else.

I'm so

confused now. Is he saying "us" as in OM, like we all know, or is she still playing the "I know Shira!!!1" game?

If a recruit drives to campus with his family for a visit, their mileage can be reimbursed. That basically means the school can pay for his family's travel expenses, too.

But a recruit's family apparently can't be reimbursed for travel expenses if they have to fly to campus.

I can remember people beating the drum then about how we should extend an offer but we never did. Everybody could see he was a player but the concern over whether he could play SEC ball at his size scared the SEC teams off.

And yet they will pick a school for their great parties they throw in the library ****

You're pathetic. Do you brag to your buddies about your posts here and how you've fooled everyone into thinking you're a Bulldog? Please tell me you do so I can laugh even more at your pathetic obsessed life.

You are:

Boring as hell
Old as hell
Belligerent as hell

Kooky as hell
Ignorant as hell
Ridiculous as hell
Killing me with your insistence that you are a Dog.

It's over. Come clean or face the banhammer.

I've watched The Xfiles the last two days

Doing so has either (1) made me really paranoid about missing obvious signs and now I am looking at things too closely or (2) an OM fan named Bob likes to play in the sand while wearing MSU gear.

Always a good idea to put this out there on the front end -- hedged bets in a way that getting an elite player still reflects poorly for us.

We actually offered Dylan the night before signing day b/c we had someone decommit, but Dylan thought it was too late.

Didn't know that. Can definitely understand being hesitant to go to a place where you might sit the bench but with the benefit of hindsight I think he would have gotten good playing time.
