He desperately needs a guard that can feed him the ball. He’s a post guy. He’s at his best with a stud pg. if he had garland this yr he would be a totally different player. He’s not a guy that’s a shooter which is why he needs someone to feed him the ball down low

it was our size and team defense. he’s shown flashes of being an offensive mismatch inside the arc. he had no room to do anything.

Yeah, he played a decent game at Rupp. His numbers weren't great, 8pts and 5reb, a block and a steal. He had a nice highlight reel dunk in that game if memory serves. Apparently it was enough to get the Cat's attention because they absolutely shut him down in the game last night- 0 pts, 6reb, 4 turnovers. It was his worst game of the season, bar none. His lowest scoring output before yesterday was 7pts in 2 different games. He's not sneaking up on anyone at this point.

How was he ranked so high ? He does nothing but dunk and that’s it ... no shooting.. no low post moves... just dunking the ball or layups.

Recruiting gurus love ranking players based on athleticism and potential..... they should be ranking players based on skill sets

I thought he played pretty good at Rupp. Maybe he had an off game like the rest of the team.

I think the game against UT demoralizedthem, if that didn't then the drubbing ok put on them did.

Vandy has thrown in the towel. Shittu did not have the energy he played with in the first game.

Was always my opinion on him, he did tear his ACL last year, so that may be hindering him somewhat.. But both Travis and Richards was just abusing him at that five spot..

Tennessee could not defend them the way Kentucky did, i kind of feel for Williams trying to keep everything Kentucky has inside grounded and off the glass.. Shittu found out it is not easy, in any way you try and play them..

He’s averaging 12 & 7 for a god awful team. Not bad but nothing special. I don’t think he would have added much to what Kentucky has now. Probably would have just filled the role that Montgomery is playing. And I’d rather have a sophomore Montgomery.

And I CRINGE to think of the puns this board would have seen if he had a bad year at Kentucky.

12.5ppg and 7.3rpg on the season. Not bad, but he's obviously suffering from a lack of true PG and Scott Drew as a coach. Sucks for him that he chose Vandy and their piss poor prepping for his future over us.
