Makes sense as Penix is working his way back from injury and Tua has had his own injury issues, plus Trevor has history with Stefansky back with the Vikings.

Speaking of the Vikings, Siemian would have been better served staying in Minnesota instead of signing with the Jets (both times) which hurt his career.

I hope he is ok long term heath wise. He has taken a beating for a decade
That is a bit exaggerated. For all his time in the league, it is generally as the backup. He has had playing time but it is limited. He has gotten hit when he is has been in but his actual playing time and hits is a fraction of what it would have been as a full time starter

I don't really follow the pros but cheers to Siemian for hanging in the league for what is now over a decade. I have to assume he is known and generally well-respected to move between teams and be seen consistently as a reliable back up.

Myles Garrett nearly ended his career with that savage hit and broken leg. It was brutal to watch. It is a violent game played by violent people. Kudos to Siemian on making millions doing it.

Reported that Siemian signed for $1.3 million (not guaranteed).

While Trevor has done alright for himself, there are many QBs that have done less in their NFL careers who have gotten significantly bigger contracts.

His career and earnings would probably look a lot different if Kubiak hadn't retired or if Elway wasnt't an idiot and had hired Shanahan.

Garrett should have been suspended for that egregiously late hit. The Jet's WRs should have cracked back on his knees the entire game. People remember the injury but forget that he had delivered another late hit earlier in the game.
