What is “our media”? No such thing anymore. You believe the narrative being touted by your media and online sources and others believe the ones touted by theirs. There is no media outlet as a monolith. You’d have to go to Russia for that. Really it’s more anti the other guys media than anti-media.

I disagree here completely. I don't have a go to media because I think they are all full of ****. But "our media" refers to the main media outlets today. Pretty obvious who those are. CNN, fox, NBC, ABC and the main national newspapers. I don't trust any of them to tell the truth about most stories.

You are talking a total of about 20 million viewers a night for every TV news outlet combined. This is a country of 330,000,000 so about 6% even bother to watch the nightly news. Meanwhile, 36% or roughly 120,000,000 Americans get news via Facebook every day. It's the political propaganda and click bate being fed through social that is our real issue. Zero accountability for the content creator. Zero accountability for the consumer. People titilating themselves in confirmation bias and conspiracy theory all day long.
Much of the political propaganda and clickbait is being drawn up by the blue check journalists on Twitter and Facebook. Facebook was fact checking (inaccurately) actual news stories claiming it was Russian propaganda in the lead up to the election. The laptop? Yea, it’s real. There is a real investigation going on.

I wish it were just both sides but I think in reality it is both sides plus several outside sources with their own agendas. The Saudis, Chinese, Russians and they all have different reasons to propagandize and frankly it is difficult to discern.
Absolutely. Russians, (I should say, Putin) were sitting back on their asses laughing at the turmoil they helped to foment. Thought they had enough air cover in the US to walk into Ukraine. Not laughing now.
Ukraine is an interesting story. There are some good podcasts from folks who have gone there to provide aid and some who trained soldiers and I have seen one from a former marine who is trained in Javelin missiles.
I'm pro-Ukraine and admit I take it in through the perspective of a couple Americans fighters (James Vasquez and The Dirty Dozen) on the ground and the tactics from OSINTTechnical. All Ukraine POV. They attacked and I am anti autocrat so don't really care what the Russian perspective is.

I definitely don't care about the Russian perspective. I care about the Ukrainian people who are not responsible for the ******** their government does but who have to deal with Russia and other BS whe they just want to be free. They are aught in between a ruthless invader, a corrupt government and a lot of other shenanigans from friends and enemies all over the world who see their country as a laundry mat.
