SIAP: Derrick Johnson Ranting Again

Dennis came in highly ranked Derrick not so much. Derrick needs to step back!! It took him like his senior year to develop. He should just step back and let Jasper do what he wants to do. Jasper was not ready this year he may get better with some time. Jasper didn’t play much in the All Star games kinda ticked me off off. After seeing him this year I understand why he didn’t play much. He needs to hit the weights and develop he might turn out ok. Don’t see how this is on Pope!!
My biggest issue with Dennis is he didnt hit the weight room as much as he should have. 6'6" but never fully developed under Mumme.
I'll always be thankful he picked us over Notre Dame.
He can’t dribble, pass, rebound, or defend. His specialty 3 point shooting at 34.1 %. Leave quietly I would. Yeah his uncle isn’t helping his cause.
At least not one who couldn’t play 5 minutes for a 14 loss team and who was -9 in 2 minutes when he stepped on the floor.

At this point it's seems personal between Derrick & Pope. Why else would he still be going? Pope may need to get his lawyers involved or fire back himself. Saying nothing looks weak

Yes he’s 10,000% chasing more money. If he could dribble the ball he’d have gotten it to. Heck he’ll still get it probably. Probably not fair about the dribbling comment but he definitely could use some work. lol.
So under the recent narrative that fans run off players, can we conclude that Derrick ran off Chandler?
Why is his uncle trying to beef with BBN like johnson was a star player on the team lol. I get defending him but at this point he's making the family look a little bad. Like to other schools also.

Maybe as fans we shouldn't do some of the things we do. But as a players family that obviously will draw attention to what is said..I really feel like that was a punk biyatch move to name drop other players on the team. Why talk about other players? If you have a problem you should speak on that but I'm sure these other players can speak for themselves and don't need Jaspers goofy uncle name dropping folks.
Jasper is a big boy. Hell I didn't know he was 20 years old like stated. I think I see his problem. Looks bad being a 20 year old man and having another man do all this ranting in your name. I would have done told my unc to chill out I can fight my own battles.

I will be rooting for Jasper to succeed. But facts are facts Uncle Derrick—your nephew flat out underachieved this year. A selfish, me-first chucker who couldn’t even bring the ball up the floor towards the end of the year. Ranting about PT or misdirected fan ire makes you look like an absolute fool. You act like he’s Cuttino Mobley 2.0 and most of us would have settled for a poor man’s John Mobley (Ohio State). Jasper was neither.

I literally saw poster after poster saying "do not play Noah" throughout the season.
Simply put he was not ready for prime time games. His skill set was that of a two guard and he was asked to play the point. Aberdeen the same but Aberdeen was taller and much more seasoned and experienced. As has been stated Derrick is costing his nephew a lot of money because other coaches may be reluctant to take on someone else's problem.
The guy isn’t helping the situation but I’m also gonna give him some Grace. The casual fan has no idea what happened throughout the season with Pope, staff, Jasper and the team. The uncle knows what Jasper has told him, true or not. It might really be as bad as they say. That being said there comes a time to just STFU and it’s probably time.
Except that his newest tweet is not really aimed at Pope. Instead it is aimed at us …the UK fans. The whole point of it is obviously to gripe about OUR supposed unfair bias in favor of Chandler.

I hadn’t seen the newest. Deleted Twitter for lent, may not add it back. Too much porn on it!! Jasper deserved criticizing but the dude needs to realize, it wasn’t us. It was the staff that put him on the ball instead of a spot up shooter. Jasper could have helped off the ball. I’m sure he has read all the comments criticizing his comments and he is just firing back.
