Very nice move .
As for vets tickets , a buddy of mine that is a veteran is in some type of program where he gets free or deeply discounted tickets to events such as sports and concerts . I thought he told me that he is sometimes offered rutgers tickets through it. I think the way it works is the veterans organizations buys or gets the tickets from the team or ticket agent and then offers it to the vets.

Just heard that from the possible pool of approximate 500 federal employees impacted by the shutdown within a 30 minute drive radius of Rutgers, No 1 has taken advantage of this classy giveaway. Lol lol lol. Maybe they can throw in free express shuttle service from Washington.

Hope you can provided proof of what you claim.

But the financial; situation of those trying to survive without pay might just make it impossible to accept free tickets because of other expenses
involved when attending sporting events like RU Basketball.
