He already committed to Illinois.

So,.unless something has changed or changes, he won't be getting too many looks
No Bassett was already committed to us, selling us merchandise, and his 2 brothers were as good as committed, then suddenly he’s on the market again. He’s an Illinois kid, so less likely to jump ship, but you never know when a bigger program comes calling. He could be very committed to the football program, which would make a big difference. Duel sport athletes at this level make me nervous about dumping wrestling, since that isn’t where the pro money is. I think Taylor told Ross he would take him only if he gave up the football dream after high school.
