Local kid Aaron Ramsuer from Crest all over field in second half...

Name has been called a lot...

BJ Emmons has run hard the fourth quarter.... The QB from Cuthbertson (Oklahoma recruit) has played very well today

Powelll kid from Rose ran a kickoff back earlier.... And Brown from Southern Durham has played well

On the hogs side, Kollin Byers from Crest has played very well, right tackle, long snapper and even on kickoff returns....

Been a fun game to watch

Congrats on the win NC. The Crest kids had an outstanding game. Aaron Ramsuer is always around the ball if he was a couple inches taller he would be a big time D1 recruit.

Looks like there was a pretty important visitor at the shrine bowl game today. Presidential candidate Marco Rubio was in attendance today at Wofford.

That's probably the biggest crowd Rubio seen this year.

Dowdle was among the late substitutes. They usually do well in the Shrine Bowl.

When you are picking 44 players from 378 football teams there should not be a huge drop off when replacing one or two players at each position.

At least eight players were substitutes yesterday and another did not play due to an injury suffered during practice. Also, several big time players (including two of the biggest game changers I saw play this year) opted out. Some players were worthy but the two player per school maximum sometimes causes the coaches to pick their needs over the best player on a team with multiple players.
