Agree, what has he done - sent a text message when he was 17 and was with some guys who had some MJ paraphanilia in the room.

Put the pads on and get in there

He was an adult when he sent the text. And of the 4 people in the room he was the ONLY one ticketed. So either he admitted it was his pipe, or the other 3 people (football players) told the police it was Mo's pipe.

So a pipe and no weed = murder. Got it.
You are excusing a behavior just because it happened in a different state. I don't care what crime is committed it still happened and it still speaks of a person character. No? Or in your mind does a persons character change from location to location?

I agree the porn charges are insane. The weed thing, not a biggie. Again the charges are irrelevant in my mind. It is his continued poor choices that are concerning to me. We need players who are 100% committed and focused on team, not themselves. If they aren't 100% committed to team, at the very least be smart enough to not get caught doing stupid ****.

I'm doing no such thing. I just don't think Mo did anything to warrant being kicked off the team. Your comparison of his situation to committing murder was ridiculous.

From Mitch Sherman in The Athletic 6/6:

"The Huskers limited Washington’s work in spring practice so he could focus on handling his business in both states. He went to work this summer with teammates in conditioning and weight-room activities with much the same mindset, Frost said last week.

Then early Tuesday, university police cited Washington on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia.

And with that, the whole conversation around Washington changed. Not because he deserves to be vilified for bringing a marijuana pipe into his dorm room; student-athletes have done worse and faced little or no discipline. To say that Washington was walking on thin ice already this offseason, though, is an understatement. His limited work in practice and absence from the spring game was meant to deliver a message — to Washington and all who were watching — that Nebraska took seriously the charges against him in California.

The citation this week creates the perception, fair or not, that Washington takes this legal ordeal less seriously. It also places Frost in a difficult spot."

Needless to say, the sooner this all reaches a conclusion the better. Add national publications to the list of those following closely.
