Should’ve kept Casey

He would have been injured a long time ago.

Frost's terrible QB recruiting set this program back for many years.

Or so some think. Could've been injured by this point in the season just like last year (likely).

Very likely. He had surgery in the off season and did not made it like two games at FAU before getting hurt again.

Huskers need a better OC and are in desperate need of an above average, smart quarterback out of the Transfer Portal. Step up and throws some NIL money at a good one. I would actually prefer a smart kid who is capable over a super athletic QB that can't process the game.

It was his choice to leave

Yeah so why we screwing around with this old trope? I feel bad for Sims, But holy crap how come he keeps throwing those balls when people aren’t open or directly to the other team, And WTF why doesn’t he put both hands on the ball going into contact?

Our starting QB in 2024 isn’t on the roster. Can’t be…right? I hope.

His last fumble there was absolutely no reason for it. The play was not going for any yards and he knew he was going down. Just put two hands on the ball and go down. I don't think the Husker quarterbacks have football smarts. I am sure they are great people and do well in the classroom. However, on the football field they play as if they do not have a brain. It took the 3rd string quarterback to something I have not seen for quite a while in a Husker game. Purdy, instead of taking a sack, actually got out of the pocket and threw the ball across the LOS. Too many times the Husker quarterbacks give up big yardage killing a drive or potential score.

The sad part is that was called a run play and Purdy screwed it up.

Casey left on his own....and sans Trey, he's a below average QB at best who was afraid to run and injury prone....this train of tbought reminds me of my single days sandwiched between two marriages...I'd date a chick for a while, realize she wasn't the one, end things, then a few months go by and I hadn't seen a girl naked for a while and i'd atart thinking..."ya know, (insert one of several ex gal pals here) wasn't so bad...I think i'll give her a call and see what's up". Yeah i'd break my two month old virgin streak but the end result was always the same eventually. They weren't the one...and we'd break it off again.

So maybe I have been too hard on Satt. Could be it possible that the Husker quarterbacks are so dumb and bad they are not even running the plays the coaches are calling?

I haven't heard Rhule say it before but it could be 😬

He said today in the press conference after the game that on 1st down when the Huskers got the ball in the Red Zone late in the 4th quarter that a run play was called. Instead Purdy ended up throwing the ball away to avoid taking a sack. If it was a run play was called, why is Purdy throwing away the ball?

not sure how the call got sent to Purdy but maybe someone told him the wrong play. Or maybe he said it wrong to the team.

Well we wanted to keep him BUT Rhule basically was telegraphing that Sims was likely to be his QB and he didn't want to be sitting on the bench.

He said it was supposed to be a hand-off. Apparently Purdy pulling it wasn't an option, when he had no help outside he threw the ball away.

Lol, at the 3rd string qb out there calling his own number. Can't make this **** up.
