in the past some of our guys have missed 4 or 5 threes in a game and have suffered the wrath of the fans. When someone says “they’ll come out of it and shoot better” the self appointed experts insist that good shooters don’t have those games. I was watching some OU/Texas b-ball after the SMU/UCF game finished and they were saying Trae Young had missed 20 threes in a row before making one in this game.

On another note, OU has a good team and a couple of excellent players but how the heck are they ranked 23rd at 16-9 and under .500 in their conference?

Barring a miraculous comeback today, they will be on a 5 game losing streak and 2-8 in their last 10 games. They’ll fall out of the rankings for sure tomorrow. I’m astonished they only dropped from 17 to 23 after losing to Iowa St.

Well....their POTY had missed 20 straight threes at one point today. Hard to win when the guy whose taking the bulk of your shots can’t hit the broad side of a barn...and their D is awful.

You had to watch some of the SMU-UCF game to see how many shots were air balled, hit the front of the rim, rimmed out, or simply clanked. SMU does not have one good shooter left - at least not on the road. SMU looks headed to a losing season if Milton doesn't come back. The announcers (both UCF guys) had a fawning interview for over 5 minutes of the second half with Milton. I caught it in the middle, but never heard a question about when/if he will return.

Assuming TU doesn't collapse tomorrow, the UCF game Wednesday is a tiebreaker and positions TU well for 4th.
