From a recent Carino article...

Pikiell and his wife, Kate, donated $250,000 to the Rutgers Cancer Institute in New Brunswick as the kick-starter for a coming campaign called “Rutgers Tough,” which will sell T-shirts to raise money for the institute. His players will be wearing those shirts in warmups when their season tips off Nov. 6 against New Haven.

Will be announced very soon, they have about 1,000 Rutgers Tough shirts that will benefit Cancer research.

It has been posted on another thread, but they are selling them at the first 3 home games. I need another T-Shirt like I need a hole in my head but if Pike can give $250,000, I can give $30.

Same here, Lou. At last count, I have 34 Rutgers t-shirts, polo shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, jackets, and coats. Oh yeah... eight RU caps, too.

No problem adding another knowing the cause.

Definitely plan on buying shirts for my wife and me. Pikiel is a good coach, but a great person. Wish only the best for Pikiel and his family,
