Time to get some of these programs on the schedule to take revenge.

Let's get Evansville, Gardner Webb, Middle Tennessee St, Memphis on the out of conference slate ASAP and start chipping away. How UK has a losing record against most of these is ridiculous. Time to build a revenge tour.

No. New Chapter. Put the best on the schedule and establish winning records against them. Enough of this low-bar stuff.
The last two season's schedules have been rated the two most difficult in school history.

Going out of our way to schedule those teams gives off baby dick energy. Sprinkling one in here and there over the years and slowly but surely rectifying the situation, sure, why not. We schedule enough random Poop State teams each season, at least with some of these there's an actual benefit/reason.

How is playing Indiana, Kansas, UNC, Virginia and UL before the conference a " low bar". Everybody plays their share of tomato cans preconferance. Look at Dukes preconferance schedule if you don't believe me.
  • Michigan State: Nov. 10, 2026 (Chicago, Ill.).
  • Illinois: Nov. 17, 2026 (Durham, N.C.).
  • Washington State: Nov. 21, 2026 (Palm Desert, Calif.).
  • UConn: Nov. 25, 2026 (Las Vegas, Nev.).
  • Florida: Dec. 1, 2026 (Gainesville, Fla.).
  • Michigan: Dec. 21, 2026 (Durham, N.C.).
  • Gonzaga: Feb. 20, 2027

Duke actually needs to schedule some good teams OOC because they are not getting tested in that G4 conference they play in. This is not the ACC of 20 years ago. This coming year looks better for that league than it has in several years as Duke, UNC, Virginia, Miami and UL will probably be preseason top 25.

The SEC will be the top conference again this year. There may be as many as 8 top 25 teams preseason.

I never said they were low bar stuff. Read my post again.

The Big 10 was the best Conference last year. I just looked at Duke's non-conference schedule like the poster said do. It isn't cupcake city. Looking at their Conference schedule :
Home-and-Home Series (Twice)
  • North Carolina (Primary rival)
  • Virginia (Variable partner)
Home-Only Games
  • California
  • Florida State
  • Miami
  • NC State
  • Notre Dame
  • Pittsburgh
  • Stanford
Away-Only Games

  • Boston College
  • Clemson
  • Georgia Tech
  • Louisville
  • SMU
  • Syracuse
  • Wake Forest

I don’t see many losses on that schedule. Heck, Pope probably wouldn’t lose but two or three of those games.

Where are you finding their full schedule? You are conveniently leaving out some cupcake games I must assume. Washington St. does qualify as a cupcake at 12-20 vs. the #92 ranked schedule last season.

I do not think they've posted their cupcake games, yet. So, if you just quickly look at their current schedule it does look solid, but I have a hard time seeing it being much different than UK's when it's all said and done.

They are still missing like 7 games from the non-con. Coastal Carolina game is not official yet but supposedly trying to get scheduled for Nov 5th, and the other 6 I don't see any info on yet.

Duke does benefit from the Amazon Prime games helping them land Michigan, Uconn, and Gonzaga non-con games. But they will still play 6-7 doormats as well.
