Thank you for sharing that with me. My aunt lived in Belmont. When my Mother would visit her we would go to a place called Stow (maybe Stowe) park. That was a long time ago.

Stowe Park, right in downtown Belmont. Have taken my kids there many times when they were younger.

The Shelby defensive line is unlike anything we’ve seen or will see again unless we meet twice. I wouldn’t want them coming after me all night. The Wolves will have to have a great game plan and execute it to perfection to win. It’ll also be tough to contain the sophomore RB. Our pass defense has been solid but the run defense got exposed by Burns. Unfortunately playing Highland and Bessemer City is not a good warmup for Shelby. I think we can win, but I also know it can turn into a repeat of the playoff game if we get behind and hang our heads.

Shelby looks strong, especially up front, but if the Wolves stop the run, protect the quarterback, and stay mentally tough, they’ve got a chance
