What I have noticed is by mid-second quarter the bears are doubled over sucking wind.....
They are a talented bunch, I wont take a thing from them, this is far from over

There will be 2 new charters in the granite city before next season. We will petition to get back in 1a playing the schools with less then 300 kids.

Stop with that BS. Shelby is just dang good has nothing to fo with classification. With 8 classes now 3a is really like 2A was. Size of school wise. Shelby was just better let's give them that and stop this MA 1a bashing crap.
It went about as would be expected. MA secondary just had nothing to stop the passing game and the Dline couldn't get to Farmer in time. They had a good game plan, but shot themselves in the foot with some penalties starting on the first drive. They needed to get a turnover or two if they couldn't stop Shelby's offense and that didn't happen. Held the run in check, just didn't have the secondary to hold that pass attack. It was a good season for the Bears. Good luck to the Lions the rest of the way.

MA has 620 students let's stop acting like they are big school.
Shelby was only 3 players shy of playing 4A with 792 students in their ADMs

MA had no answer in secondary but I don't think any team in 3a does. Shelby receivers are really good and Farmer just puts every pass where it needs to be. Defensive backs have to be aggressive it's only 10 yard penalty for holding. MA didn't get penalty in secondary all night too soft.
I was really impressed with that defensive line especially 22, 71, Offensively 4 is just special and 5 was very good as well....
Its been great the last weeks to watch this Shelby team cut down on penalties, no turnovers and play like we know they are capable of...

Congrats to Shelby. They came to town, took our recess money, ate our lunch, stole our desert, kicked our but completely and then took our girl friends to Cook Out.

I very much enjoyed the trip to Mt Airy. Nice people, great stadium , and great atmosphere and congrats to Golden Lions for a great win. As for Mt Airy your kids played hard all night and 4 is a beast.
