Sharpe (and Calipari) put Tyty and Wheeler’s futures in jeopardy by refusing to play amd thus forcing them to play injured. He put success over the health of his teammates. That is terrible.

I can’t stand talking about it, Sharpe is a nobody, listen to Jordan at Kobe’s Funeral around 3 minute mark when he visited Phil in LA. Kobe came up to him and asked Jordan if he brought his shoes? Kobe was always looking to get better, always. Sharpe would of went up to Jordan and asked for his keys so he could go home. Let’s quit talking about him. He has nothing to do with the history of Kentucky Basketball. Chris Gettlefinger has 1000 times more to do with the history of Ky basketball than piss poor Sharpe does! You're wrong!!! He did steal. Think about all of the things he got at UK. By accepting a scholarship he entered into a contract with the University. He agreed to PLAY for the school and they agreed to give him an education, coaching, training, medical, etc. Just the training and equipment use would have cost him or his family if he had to pay for those services. If he just sat out until the draft, he would have had to PAY for those things. But by going to KY, he got those things for FREE! And since he didn't PLAY, he violated his part of the deal. To me that is fraud and/or theft.
On a side note...he is delusional if he thinks he is the greatest player ever. No wonder our team seemed to get worse as the season progressed. With his attitude, he was a cancer to the team. Yeah, the greatest player who is too scared to play and show us what he's got, therfore hurting his teammates. He is DISGUSTING!!!
But the Sharpe situation is a minuscule thing in our lives that we barely even think about, right?
Sharpe‘s fiasco is just a sign of the times. It will be interesting to see if his stock drops due to refusing to play. If his stock doesn’t fall your going to see more kids pull this crap. CAL is at fault for keeping the kid on the team after it was obvious he wasn’t going to play.

Calipari is a tool. Sharpe knew it and took full advantage of Calipari and UK's fan/NIL-base. The only thing that can potentially make the optics even worse would be for Calipari to show up at the NBA draft and slobber all over Sharpe.
The Omaha newspaper recently ran a great quote from the Creighton head basketball coach [McDermott]: "We're probably not in the market for transfers who bring baggage. I'm too old to coach knuckleheads anymore. That shipped has sailed." Not only does he lack coaching skills, but Calipari doesn't have the confidence, maturity or onions to ever make that kind of we-don't-want-selfish-turds pronouncement on the record to the media. Instead, Big Blue Nation is stuck with his players-first culture. And that is one big root of the problem.

Enes wanted to play. The NCAA would not let him. Sharpe did not want to play. He wanted a safe place to sit and some NIL money while he waited for the NBA draft. They are not the same to me but that does not matter to either one of them.
Yet he sits in the Hall of fame and you are ragging on him, anonymously. Yawn.

I think the issue with this guy is that he isn’t “the sharpest” pencil in the box. All this drama may be from a lack of iq
Difference is Enes wanted to play at UK and the NCAA was completely wrong not to let him. Sharpe had zero desire to play here.
Sharpe would sleep with your wife and show you the video and laugh and you'd still defend him. Pathetic.
I am angry with the decision to not play him/him not want to play. Let's be real here though it is ultimately on Cals shoulders.
On a side note, I sure hope no future recruits, or current players for that matter are reading this board. It seems like they would be turned off for sure to come play for us (or not play... like Sharpe lol).
I know everyone wants what is best for the program but all a rival recruiter would have to do is direct him to our forums and say just go see what they say about you if you aren't playing good or aren't doing what they want you to.
Sad thing is that I know that most of you all are NOT like this and don't post things like I have seen in this tread so horrible about a kid failing, etc. That being said... MY GOD!!!
