If his camp was concerned about him being “exposed” and losing draft stock by playing, he probably wouldn’t have made any more impact than an Illinois St transfer like we will end up with.

Maybe it will finally wake the last few of you up to who Snake oil Cal really is. This is Kentucky. He can’t be allowed to ruin it.

The chapter needs to end the second Oscar is gone.
Most of the people you're referring to are Cal staffers, family members, and/or their socks.

Just pisses me off. He was clearly ready to play, make a big impact on our team, but still sat on the bench and didn't contribute. Meanwhile, we have a transfer guard busting his *** playing 39 minutes/game, playing on two busted wheels, having to crawl to the pisser to urinate, while Sharpe sits in street clothes and watches. This is the part I cannot accept.
And you shouldn’t . Idk how anyone could bash Kentucky fans about this . Fans have the right to be upset about this .

I guess I need some clarification: IF he graduated in May 2021, as the story is claiming, then why didn't he play at UK this year? He could've been here in the fall, played an entire year of major UK basketball, landed even better NIL deals, and developed even more.

Why didn't that happen?

Because he didn't want to play at all is the only answer

He called her a derogatory name. That’s uncalled for.

If you’re an NBA GM and you draft this kid, how can you ever believe anything his camp ever tells you? They just straight up lied to EVERYONE about his future plans.

There is no spin, you take the #1 players and hope he plays like he says, if he doesn't...you took a chance. It's not some big failure by Cal...you'll keep saying it is because it's what you do though. So have fun.
There is no positive way to spin this. If you know he isn't going to play and he is eligible for the draft, you do not take him. This is a bad look for the program.

At least with one and done you get the FR for one year. In this case, Sharpe/his family/his handlers and CAL used the University and the program for the benefit of an individual.

The alternative is to let Sharpe handlers prepare him for the NBA - but not at the expense of UK.

I would like them to ask Cal, Sharpe, and the handler this .
