Hilarious you are so triggered...raising your rent a $1 per post bangs. [laughing]

You have no clue how little this bothers me.

This 💯. Not sure how people blame Cal on this. Bit like you say, many folks on here blame Cal for the weather.

You act as if all this happens in a vacuum. It doesn't. Cal looks like a clown that got played by a 19 year old and his camp, recruits see that. Other programs see that and use it against us. It's a horrible look for the entire program.

There is no spin, you take the #1 players and hope he plays like he says, if he doesn't...you took a chance. It's not some big failure by Cal...you'll keep saying it is because it's what you do though. So have fun.
Wow. Does the long and storied history with these types of players not show you anything? It's the Me/Right Now generation of players. There's nothing else. Their people aren't idiots. They say what they say to keep the wolves at bay.

If Calipari doesn't smell that BS as head coach of the Kentucky Wildcats, this program is truly rudderless.

But what about those summer classes? 😂

We have some of the absolute most gullible fans. "Twitter says he's ineligible for the draft." "Insider says..."

Sharpe never had any intentions of playing.

Good riddance, dude.
Think he wanted to play this past year, but the team was just clicking right when he came in. This **** sucks, Cal can never let this happen again. I wish nothing but the best for the young man.

It’s official now, so let’s all stop talking about him. As far as UK basketball is concerned, he never existed.
I disagree. I'd said all year as people freaked out that I was going to wait until something happened before I got angry about it. Well, if this is true now it's time to be angry about it. Mitch needs to hear from thousands of angry fans about how unacceptable this is and how he needs to make it DAMN clear to his employee that something like this is not to be allowed to occur again.

I feel like the Sharpe situation is similar to a lot of political and social situations where one group is telling you what's happening and what's going on and the other group plugging their fingers in their ears while dragging out the slowest "I told you so's."

He was never going to play. Because it made no sense for him to sit the bench when he could have played the last half of the season. He didn't want to play. Diallo would have been just like him and was (didn't want to play but felt forced after not getting any guarantee) but the whole "He'll come next year" was so damn stupid and insulting to one's intelligence. You're not injured? You're eligible? You play. It's no complicated system.

Sharpe is a piece of **** for stringing us along and playing us, and Cal is a piece of **** for allowing this to happen and misleading us into thinking he'd actually be back. Not going to lie, I hope Sharpe ends up being a bust and out of the league within 3 years.
Don’t wish bad luck on anybody, but I think anyones frustration is justified, this whole situation has made Kentucky look like a idiot

Get that POS out of Kentucky and get his posse gone with him. Should have never been allowed on that bench. Calipari lol, the guy is a joke. We’ve got our Tebow / Meyer situation going on with Oscar.

I’ll never believe for a second calipari didn’t know. All of this has been nothing but misdirection and deceit from the start. Calipari knows more about this **** than anyone. They’re all frauds.

This is not new news to us. We knew about this before he came to school,” Washington told KSR. “This news is not news to anybody in the NBA. … People just found out, but NBA people already knew.”

Those who needed to know were made aware, but that was the extent of the conversations. It didn’t even get to the man in charge in Lexington.

“I didn’t even tell Calipari,” Washington said. “Calipari was like, ‘Do you think he could do it?’ I said, ‘Honestly, it doesn’t matter, because he’s not going.’ He said, ‘OK, if you say so.’ Because everything I’ve said has happened.”

That’s because Sharpe’s path is clear, one different than other top-ranked players looking for a quick buck or an autopilot year before declaring for the draft. He chose the road less traveled at Kentucky, one focused on the future rather than the now.

With professional organizations begging for his commitment — Washington tells KSR that Sharpe turned down “four, five million dollars” from “every pro situation that was available” — they chose the guarantee: development under Calipari at Kentucky.

“It’s pretty idiotic. Everybody knew that this was an option, but we’re not taking it,” Washington told KSR. “He lost millions coming to school. He came to get better. … You come to get ready if you want to go to the NBA, which is one of the goals. You have to be ready. People don’t respect Calipari’s ability to develop enough, that’s why (Shaedon’s) there.

“He’s not there to sit on the bench and wave at fans. He’s coming back next year. If he doesn’t play this year, he’s coming back next year.”
Absolutely ******* disgusting. **** Sharpe and his family/handlers. They can all eat a big hefty bag of dick. If Cal knew, which I assume he did, he can munch on the same said hefty bag of dick as well. Sounds like Cal orchestrated the whole setting up of these announcements. Starting yesterday with Oscar. Just pathetic. Can’t wait for Cal to hit the bricks.

If losing Sharpe would allow us to lose Calipari, I'd do a backflip.

I have defended Calipari on this... but if he knew he graduated last May (and its in the ESPN article from January), then Calipari has to take some of the heat for this.

Hope he has a healthy NBA career, but he is "dead" to me.. hope he ends up on a sucky NBA team, and tolls in obscurity for years...

Just an honest question is there even any options in the portal that Kentucky could get close to replacing what he was going to be

Losing to St Peters, losing record last year, no final fours in 7 years, this debacle, I mean we are giving them quite a bit of ammo to use against us honestly.
