Called head coach a troll when he makes comments about how great the practices are going, and that we should stop believing it when he says it. He’s 100% correct.

The practices might have looked great. I have coached crappy teams before and sometimes we had great practices...because we were practicing against our crappy selves.

Well, Frost didn’t say we looked like Bama in practice. As bad as we have played, having our best practice isn’t saying much..

Do what Saban does when Bama doesn't have what he thinks is a good/clean game, give them a 100 plus play scrimmage, on Thursday.

He’s late to the party. Several figured that out after Colorado and have not taken a word that any coach or player belches out seriously since. Of course, there is always the crowd that gets amped up over these quoted after barely beating a conference weakling or flat out being destroyed.

Who do you interpret as the target of Frost's trolling? The media? Opposing teams? Surely not Husker fans, right?

That's correct, but to hear someone in the media call it out is refreshing.

What is he supposed to say? The media expects him to answer their questions....they ask how practice was. They simplified things for the backup..it went great...but the offense isn't bad because they play bad, they are bad because they don't have great players. Robinson is a true freshman who already has 700 yards in the offense...the offense works if players can play...we don't have players...especially at the most important position...the line. If he stops media accessibility then it sends the message that the problem is the media or attention from the media but that would be a lie and show poor leadership. A true leader shows courage, allows truth to reign. He tells truth, the consequences are immature grown men make a big deal out of it. He protects his players, doesn't throw them under the bus other than to say they need to step up. He has said at least 10 times that practice is practice but you have to show it in competition. We haven't.

I listened to a minute of that show and I had to turn it off. The show offers no value.

Coach speak and by now every Nebraska fan should be immune to it.

This ^^ and it’s our choice to stop drinking the Kool Aid. I know I’ve had enough. Will continue supporting the staff and team but I will no longer buy into the Sun-Friday shenanigans that is being shared with us.

can we at least get an injury report?? I mean why does Pickering have to be the greatest kept secret in the USA?

Not saying Bo is a good coach but I just wish Frost had a little Bo in him. I wish he’d say they were terrible when they were terrible and maybe get in their faces a bit. Guy is a smart coach but I think that would go a long way.

Talk to Bill Belichick about that...seems to work for them. You don't have a right to injury information about players. That is personal information. He was a factor in one game this year. Apparently kickers are overrated.

I usually give the new Coach the benefit of the doubt when he says something. I usually take it as the truth because hey, why would he lie? Welp...

Revisionist history. Bo was such a homer with his favorite players...he had a lack of self-control so he would flip his **** because he was a nutcase but he certainly did not hold players accountable... remember this guy won 10% of his games against top 25 teams...and lost by an average 27 ppg in the losses. I remember his players trying to knock out wisky players when they were getting beat by 40, and then cheering the hit. His players generally didn't care about NU, neither did Bo..which is why he said f-it most of the time.

They probably do look great in practice. Look they are practicing against.

This is my nomination for post of the year. Hit the problem right on the head.

We have offensive lineman that can't stand up without falling down. Our defense also falls down at the slightest block. Both probably do look great in practice even going 1s on 1s
