Wow - this could be interesting for the Peacocks. Holloway will bring in recruits.

I give a guy a lot credit for taking a pay-cut to be a head coach. Making like 300k at SHU and looking at $250k a year for 5 years at St Peter's. IF - its a big IF - he wins there, it could set him up for St. John's or Seton Hall or some other mid/high major and a million dollar payday!

Lots of MAAC teams in flux. Relatively speaking, St. Peter's has good talent returning. A couple good recruits and Holloway can get them moving in a hurry.
Btw, St. Peter's baseball team has lost 61 straight. How is that even possible?

Forget the guy's name - believe it's Bilap Dhatia - used to be an assistant under EJ - was currently an assistant under Dunne at St Peters - wonder if he goes with Dunne to Marist or stays at St Peters or finds himself looking again?

Apparently there were some conditions that SPC had to meet for Shaheen to take the job. No one has confirmed it, but don't be surprised if Mike Rice joins his staff. If true, smart move by Sha and Rice gets back into coaching as an assistant. There is no guy loved more than Shaheen...class act and carries the water for SHU's recruiting. Tough loss, but an opportunity to go out and get a talented recruiter (something Willard desperately needs).

Not sure I understand why a first time college HC at that level would bring Mike Rice along as an assistant. He does not need his help to recruit and why deal with such a potential distraction when you have enough other stuff to deal with. I realize the spotlight on SPC is low but I think Rice's next job should be a little further removed from NJ.

What's Tiny up to these days? Does he still have the SHU recruiting van?

It is our board right? And the fact is Wiliard was 2 games over .500 after 5 years then Morton showed up. That is a fact.
