You also would have lied about "returning to lead the team in 2022-2023"?

It may have been a smart decision to not play cbb and risk getting exposed in a way that diminished his draft position. However, the way he went about it is something I would have never done...nor would I have allowed any of my children to do. Also, I don't want to hear anything about "Sharpe didn't actually say anything". If you have a "handler", he/she speaks for you by proxy. Handler lies/family lies.

He didn't lie, plans changed. That happens. I took a job and made plans to take over as CFO in a few years, hated it and left lesss than a year in. Did I lie in interview, nope, situation changed. Grow up.

How about the graduation date lie?Pilgrim and Tucker both confirmed Washington told them a different date.I suppose Sharpe doesn't know his true graduation date.

What shocker this must be to CCC sniffers! This was the damn plan from the day he walked on campus!!! He drives a new Porsche, draws NIL money watches his "suppose to be teammates" play HURT and battle and he sits his a$$ on the bench telling CCC what he will and will not do! This has been a laughing stock joke from the beginning and our HC CONDONES it and let's THE PROGRAM suffer for it! Someone explain to me In any way shape or form why this is a good thing for UK.

I hope he fails. Not because of him, but his pos handlers and Cal. They deserve to be burned.
Surely you didn't believe this kid was coming back to Kentucky. It should have been obvious to you once it was known that he wasn't playing because he didn't want to risk injury. That being the case, why would he come back the following year risking injury when he is projected a top 5 pick?

I hope he realizes his dream. I will not root against him.

Shaedon Sharpe's first pro commercial sponsorship will be with Rent-A-Center. Hell star as RappMan which is short for Rent-A-Practice-Player-Man

No I didn’t. I had some hope until Cal’s ‘I’m not putting him in just to win a game speech.” Cal never had any intention of playing him

Y’all are kinda just mean spirited people. Regardless, he did what he had to do, and you would have done the same thing. I watched his “pro-day” vid from the combine, and yes, it left me drooling. The kid is a stud and is going to be great. How anyone came away from that with him being a failure is baffling. So, he came here to prepare, do what’s best for his future,…just like you would if you were him, and look at you. The whole purpose of college is to be prepared for a career and life after college. Top 5 NBA Draft Pick is a good start on that. Forget you haters. Sincerely.

I'm absolutely going to hate it when they call his name and say..."from the University of Kentucky..."

If he and his handlers have any decency they'll just use his high school.
I have no ill will towards Sharpe per se. But I hope it’s that gets said any BBN in attendance boos the crap out that.

You were the only one too. The ONLY one that could have figured this out. Well not just you. @kentuckycriedchicken told us as well. He’s a smart guy too……..hey wait a minute
I'd be gone too. Money is very attractive option.

I'm sure I wasn't the only one who figured it out. But I was the only one at the time with the ballsack to say it out loud, knowing the gainsayers and yapping puppies like you would pile on. And now you're on the wrong side of history, pal. You were wrong. So deal with that in a mature way instead of like a redass trying to change the subject.

He DID lie. He falsified (at least) ONE of his graduation documents. We still don't know which one is the real one.

Wish him nothing but the best. If I was in his shoes I'd have done the same thing, it was the smartest thing for his career.
Would you have played this season and given it your all for YOUR team? If so , I'm good with it, but if not...you're as big of an Ahole as he has been.

It's like when you get married and promise you won't **** anybody else. Then a hot piece comes along and plans change. Character not reflected there at all.
