Looks like Rahmir is the unnamed fourth guy in the depth chart.

Why do you say that? He stated in order Sevion, Stepp, Ervin, and then Scott. Then he said Rhamir is doing good things too.
Rahmir's strong practice performance was mentioned earlier in camp.

Like I said a few months ago, we could have a starting duo of Morrison and Steppe and utilize them like USC with Reggie Bush and Lendale White. I'm still sticking to my guns from back then saying Morrison will be the starter.

We've got 5 guys IMO who could be legit B1G starters. We've developed nice depth at multiple positions.....except maybe one.

You have more faith than I do in the running back department. There aren't any proven guys among that group. I'd argue it's far too early to say "we've got 5 guys imo who could be legit B1G starters". In a perfect world, I'd love for that to be the case but right now, I'll settle for one of them being legit.

We'll see who plays and when they play. Scott was my favorite coming in to the season and it sounds like he's down the chart. I've never felt that way about our RB depth chart for a while though. We've got some highly recruited guys with good measurables. Let's just hope they can put in on video in games. Ervin looked like a stud in the spring scrimmage. Think back to Frank's last season and what he had......Corey Ross was pretty much it. Callahan? Maybe 2 guys at a time. Riley? Probably one. We've had a lot of turnover of RBs to weed out non-performers. I think it will pay off this year. My only concern is that there's very little game experience in the group. 2 of our top 4 have never taken a hand off in a D-1 game.

unless Barry Sanders is back there, the O-Line needs to improve before any RB makes an impact.

The keys to the season for RB's are 2 things: 1 - Who stays healthy and 2 - Who sticks it out and doesn't enter the transfer portal if they're not initially number 1.

I really liked how Morrison looked in the spring game. He got limited opportunities but looked like a smooth runner like he belonged in our scheme, felt the same about Ervin. I too was a Scott fan coming into spring. He makes plays and runs hard, he just doesn’t look as smooth on his cuts and elusiveness. It seems to me that Morrison/Stepp are the guys to beat. I love our RB room.

2006 wasn't a bad year with Marlon Lucky, Brandon Jackson, Kenny Wilson, and Cody Glenn. I think they all finished right at 5 yards a carry.

I like the top 5 guys. But all 5 have proven nothing as of yet. I believe the O line is the best we’ve had in 10 years but also unproven. I honestly don’t know what to expect.
