They are imploding. Looked like a hs team 2nite
Their gym looks like a HS gym
RescheduledThey played at Walsh???
Was this a rescheduled COVID game or something?
That was a really complete and informative thread.Rescheduled
As a board service...That was a really complete and informative thread.
Did they lose? Did they just have a bad start? Hard to follow. I'll Google it but I had hoped for something more, FWIW
Seton Hall was outplayed from the opening tap.St,Johns was the far quicker team constantly running and making baskets on fast breaks..This game was rescheduled because of Covid and had to be played in Walsh Gym because of scheduling conflicts. That was a really complete and informative thread.

The Hall couldn't handle the press. Coaching staff never figured it outThe Johnnies are quick.
Embarrassing and not good for the Rutgers resume
Loyal , to assist , it was an old school Nolan Richardson/ Mike Anderson full court press with incredible pace with St. John’s stealing the ball and jacking up shots and crashing the boards. Immediately after a make, immediately attacked the inbounds pass and doubled everyone. They set up no plays until well into the second half. That was a really complete and informative thread.

Good game for him. He made 2 3’s. 3-8 overall for 10 points. To his credit 3 steals and only one turnover. 3 fouls in 17 minutes. Also , for those Montes haters, he had a real good game , knocked down a few threes , a couple of fast break flushes and had a bunch of steals and tie ups. Very happy for him.
Now this was unusual as it was a home and home and Seton Hall beat St. John’s at the Garden on Saturday 66-60 but they were never in this one and we’re down almost 30 in the second half before losing by 21. It was the first game at Walsh they said since 1985.
Hope that helped a little.
3. SJU won on the road in part by pressing. Really wish we had pressed MN.2 RU takeaways
1. SHU won at SJU and then turned around and loss vs SJU at home
2. Mathis is not playing a major role
Sounds like Aiken could be done for the year? Huuuuge hit to the shoe--not sure they're Tourney-caliber without him tbh.If RU hosted SHU tomorrow night, the Scarlet Knights would be favored by at least 7.5
