Given the was SHU wimped out and breached the contract last year, RU should have insisted on opening the upper deck.
Carton & Roberts were talking about "hot ticket" games on WFAN yesterday. They said the toughest tickets to get right now in the NY area market are the Islanders' first game at their new arena on Saturday and the RU/SHU game on Dec. 12 at The Rock. Carton asked Recco to get him some tickets. Recco told him he's the ninth person to ask him already.
For those who don't know, Roberts was going to enroll at Seton Hall. However, he instead went directly into the radio industry out of high school.

They haven’t even opened ticket sales to the general public yet, and we’re about 3 weeks out.
They’re doing whatever they can to limit Rutgers fans even if that means not opening the top.
I respect that. That is exactly what we would hope our AD would do in that situation.
Like I said earlier, 100% of what has gone down between Rutgers and SHU in the last year has favored SHU at expense of RU. Requiring the upper deck to be open would have at least been something to balance, but RU didn't even get that.
