After watching 5 of OU's last 6 games NU would beat OU by 15-20 on a neutral court. It would be a relatively high scoring game, as OU does have some guys who can both shoot the 3 and put it on the floor. But OU has become a street ball team. They play virtually no coordinated defense and routinely take terrible shots. I could see NU taking an 88-71 type game.

College basketball GameDay crew discussing whether Nebraska should be in over Oklahoma.

Rece Davis “Who is better between Nebraska & Oklahoma, that should be the question.”

Seth Greenberg “Nebraska is!”

Any year prior to this one, I'd totally be confident OU is out. The only bad thing is this Nebraska needs OSU to lose games. I hope that the committee doesn't replace on Oklahoma team for another.

The term “play in” game triggers me. It’s a First Four game. 68 teams are selected for the NCAA tournament. None of the 68 teams have to play in to the tournament, they’re already in.
Im talking a play in game. As in, man we cant decide if NU or OU deserves in. Wanna meet and play for it??

Id watch. Is all im saying. Talking an extra game not 68.

Sounds like something that would be useful in football, too :)

As much crap as Delaney got for scheduling the B10 championships a week early(it was deserved), it may end up being beneficial to the Huskers in the fact that it happened a week and a half before the selection show and may end up being "forgotten". If that game would have happened on the Friday of the selection show, it may still be fresh in the selection committee's minds. I would still be surprised to see the Huskers make the dance, but hold out some slim hope in the back of my mind.
