Yeh Duke at num 13 seems a smidgen low. But wow UCLA falling off the map.
Duke has two Quad 2 losses. Nobody else in the top 25 does. Their win over UK is the only thing keeping them in the top 15.

UCLA has lost a couple games they were favored in lately, I've always felt they were fraudulent. They got way too much respect for a crazy tournament run last year. People forget, they were a bubble team going in.

Duke losing a 2nd game at home, to another team, that probably isn't making the tournament, is very telling.

And Purdue, it looks like they're coming unraveled at the wrong time.

Great that the recent rankings from pretty much all indices are giving KY props. This clearly attributes to how we are playing and winning.
So, how does Seth arrive his rankings? Is it Seth's eye test? or does he give weightage to different indices and comes up with his own? Curious!

I would switch UK and Auburn. I know what I think would have happened if TyTy didn't get hurt at Auburn but it happened. Auburn has 2 losses to our 4, so do not see logically how we can be ranked ahead of them.

It is also crossing my mind how many times this season TyTy has gotten hurt in a game...and that is disconcerting as if he gets hurt in a NCAA game and cannot return we are in trouble IMO.

They beat Gonzaga too.

Typical duke since the 2016 team, their best performances are in November.

also, look at the free throw totals from their 2 marquee wins. Hmmm…

They’re talented. They’re not terrible. But unless they get a cringeworthy favorable whistle they’re not winning ****. Banchero is in the mold of recent duke freshman talents and doesn’t play a lick of defense. (okay hes slightly better than jabari but not by much). Their weak at point guard which is a huge red flag come march. And they’re probably too young

Auburn’s SEC schedule has been MUCH easier than ours.

Obviously, but the number of losses and head to head loss have to factor in here with the rankings. It certainly will when Auburn gets a 1 seed on selection Sunday and we probably end up a 2 seed (especially if Tyty misses some games). I agree with you 100%, but my point is the committee won't care or look at it with the logic you did. They are idiots.

I’m okay with UK anywhere in the Top 4 at this point. It’s accurate in terms of momentum and recent outcomes.

Gonzaga plays a very fortunate schedule, but they haven’t lost or even been challenged in quite some time.

Saint Mary’s has no business being ranked, if I’m nitpicking his ballot. Also think Marquette is a tad high.

Not sure where you got your info, but several teams in the top 25 have 2 quad 2 losses: Illinois, UCLA, Michigan State, USC, Marquette (3 losses). Arkansas (on his list) doesn't but they do have 2 quad 3 losses.

Many of us said UCLA was overrated when the season began. They’re good but far from great. They went on a run last year as an 11 seed that barely made the tournament.
Yep. They’re kinda a one trick pony. Juzang is their go to scorer. If he struggles, so will UCLA. Based on the couple games that I’ve watched of them.

Their pg Tiger is a poor man's Wheeler.

But yeah, other than that, they have nothing.
