Hmmmmmm, didn't say anything about pike recruiting the kid or not recruiting the kid, said the kid was not interested in a program that philosophically was similar to the one he was leaving. Try re-rereading the post

Some people are just insufferable douchebags. Can’t waste too much time wondering why - it’s really that simple.
I don't care if people have a constant negative viewpoint. I do care when they spam the board and every thread with it. If Pike sucks so bad why bother coming here and talking about it in the offseason? They clearly enjoy trolling and it should be moderated more.

I knew when Sojo started a new, separate thread on this the news wouldn't be positive. He enjoys that. No reason this couldn't have been posted in the other thread.
Didn’t see another thread on him. Ok to merge.

Also, don’t think not adding him to the roster is a negative imo. Not a guy I would’ve prioritized.

This thread isn't what most Rutgers fans want to see because Sessoms was identified as a transfer that could fill a need at the point guard position. What is missing once again is the naming of transfers that are actually interested in Rutgers as a possible destination school. Why is that so difficult to identify for a team playing in the Big Ten?One possible explanation is that Rutgers still favors under recruited players that don't mention playing time and number of shots that they will take.I doubt those type players will be shown on any recruiting threads on this message board. All I know is that there is a desperate need for shooters to replace the scoring from Baker and Harper as well as players from the previous season who transfererd to other schools.
Bottom line is this: we don't guarantee ANYTHING at RU. No cars, money, houses, jobs for relatives or playing time. That's the reality. Gotta live with it

Not necessarily. We are not an outlier we do participate just differently than the elite elite.

We also don’t need to jump at the first name available. This isn’t like the hunt last year for a BIG where only a few guys capable of contributing become available. There will be tons of guards and wings in the portal.

#1. Why would Sessoms come to a place like rutgers which is a place just like penn state without a good football program?

#2. Rutgers being bad your entire life is more impactful to a recruit’s process then rutgers making two ncaa tournaments.

#3. He starts over paul? Why would he transfer to a school where he may come off the bench for his last season?

Inefficient, underside pg with limited playmaking ability. Also can’t defend
Doesn't seem too quick either. He shot the 3 at a good percent last year but that is about it. We will be fine without him

The reason the kids not coming here is because he would be a walk on. No scholly offered.

And he only averaged a couple 3 point attempts a game. You have to worry the % might drop if it is scaled up. Although I though he had a nice jumper in person.

1. Why would a basketball player care about the football team? And take a look at his final 6. Football prowess meant zero.

2. Again take a look at his list. Being bad in the past or heck the present don’t seem to matter to him,

3. At least this is a factor that probably does weigh in his decision although if we got a true PG Paul would not block him
