How much longer does he have?. At some point big booster money will talk. At some point Mitch’s hand will be forced. UK fans are tired of excuses and the car salesman talking down to Ky and it’s fans. Will losing the all time wins to Kansas be it? Will not making the tournament be it? Will another 10 loss plus season be it? What is the breaking point? When is enough enough?

If they were to not make the tourney this season, that would put an extreme amount of heat in CALS seat.
But we will barring major injuries.
Any objectionable fan can see that this team is very talented and if they stay relatively healthy they are more than capable of making a FF depending on match ups.

If we dictate the pace, I agree. We aren’t very good in a typical half court offense. We are in trouble with anyone that slows us down and forces us to run an offense….

Keep in mind that the OP was once banned for a few weeks for saying that he enjoys getting people here riled up and that it was “too easy”. This was several years ago. @chattanoogawildcat was here that day.

The OP used to have Ale 8 as his avatar, says his son has season Vanderbilt tickets and the OP says he owns or owned a ministry. Picture a preacher that humors himself by agitating others....messed up on all levels IMO.

He can’t control himself and is back at it.
He ain’t wrong though. Our record against top 25 clubs the last 5 years is embarrassing. Probably IU level embarrassing.

Yes I got banned by mods who like you 2 years ago thought it sinfully vicious to say something against a 10 million dollar man. I am sure they are having second thoughts after 9-16 as the losses continue to pill up. Truth…oh so hard to swallow.

I'll pray for you tonight.

My guess as to when Cal feels the heat is when he gets in his Expedition Wildcat Edition and flips the switch. The wishful thinking that he's somehow going somewhere anytime soon is comical.

a coach that isn't feeling heat doesn't change out his coaching staff and go from youngest team to most veteran team in the course of 6 months while getting defensive about player time responses to the fans.

Cal knows last year wiped off about 90% of this goodwill, 75% if he didn't kneel.

Or maybe wheeler turns it over 8 times and we lose a different way. I’m not sold that we win with those guys. Cal took the air out and played stall ball. Who knows what he would have done otherwise
Fairpoint, they do need to win one of these ranked games coming up, at least two of Tennessee Kansas, and. Texas A M

Calm down. We did not have either of our point guards, and we were down one point with under a minute to go and. Chance to win.

If we are healthy I think we win the game easily.

But all these overreactions crack me up.
This.

This team is so good. We lost both of our point guards. We battled a good LSU team to within 1 on the road. We made a play and had a chance to take the lead. Boneheaded mistakes cost us. But the fact that we could even be within 1 late--down Wheeler and Tyty--I Think the ceiling is the roof.

I think because of our visceral hate for their coach, we tend to dismiss LSU. They're pretty good. We have no business beating them down 2 starters. That's just reality.

But the fact that we could go down there and lose 2 starters--be within 1 late--I think this team has a chance to get to the Final 4. And I think most rationale fans see this.

I think Cal's big mistake this season was the non-conference schedule having SO MANY cupcakes. We're now behind on resume' building. And part of that is thinking that the SEC is going to be so brutal. But the flipside of that is now we don't have a lot of room for error vs these good SEC teams.

I'm sure the selection committee will evaluate each game thoroughly and give us credit for moral victories so we can get a 1 or 2 seed.
No. But if we can be down 2 starters and play LSU to within 1 late, I think at full strength, we're going to go on a heck of a run in the SEC.

It's a nice thought that we should be able to lose our 2 best guards and STILL win vs anyone. I think at times we think because it's UK, it's somehow divinely promised that we'll always find a way. But that's just not realistic.

So no, we don't get moral points for the selection committee. But I think most rationale fans can look to that game and realize we have a very good basketball team when all the pieces are there. And if we go on a run these next few weeks--we'll be where we want to be.

That would be fine if it happened in isolation. Problem is it didn't. We have a losing record vs the top 25 in the past 5 years. That's just not acceptable.
If it's good enough for the football lovers shouldn't it be good enough for basketball too. Just sayin'

Except the horse isn’t dead. He’s making 9 million a year and turned into a jack *** and craps all over in every meaningful game
