Has anyone said they’re not getting better? I don’t read every post, but I can’t imagine anyone is seriously denying NU is improving.
Sometimes I quit before I finish the back nine too.
Very winnable game, our defense still sucks, and I don't celebrate "moral" victories.
Knew our OL was going to blast em and we scored 30+, the mental mistakes cost us and drops/miscues killed a chance for a victory.

We're getting better.
Would just like to see us play "lights-out" one game and have it all come together, instead of pointing out boneheaded special teams and "drives that got away."
Also, with 3 DL, it seems to boil down to a big run or conversion by the other team that kills out chances for victory. Their OL was big and physical. Good teams have good OL and we can't seem to solve that equation. Our blitzes are non-existent. It's troubling.
I get that... we ALL are... but there are literally hundreds of examples of teams that have terrible seasons where nothing goes right and the ship gets turned...Michigan state comes to mind...

Agreed about OSU being prime for an upset. Agreed it was very winnable. We had our opportunities. Sucks to lose. IF we would have won today, we go bowling.
You must be sarcastic,if you didn't see improvement then your head is stuck up your ***,your front was indicative on how you really play,the back was a fluke,where did you play ? HiMark ? Everyone knows a blind guy could shoot that,with a putter.

For those fans that are disappointed in the development of this team, please let us know where to pick you up when this team starts rolling again. Seriously, if your not on the bus right now please just leave. This program doesn’t need you right now. You can jump on the bus again when we are winning and you can pretend to be a true fan
I'm not seeing any improvement with special teams which have been atrocious all season. I'm not sure Lightbourn can do anything right. Worst onside kick in the history of football and a kickoff out of bounds. That being said, I truly believe we've turned the corner.
If you look at our DL recruits, we'll have 2 incoming DE that aren't big enough to play, by any stretch of the imagination, and a DT that probably needs a drastic change of body mass (less fat more muscle).
Not sure who we're in on but we lose some guys to graduation and I am not exactly sure how one can say we're going to be that much better next year, at that position???
I celebrate moral victories if the other team looks decidedly better or we had bad fortune with injuries and such. We should have won today...we have a better qb, secondary, LBs are equal, I think our line is comparable, they had a decided advantage in special teams, at RB, and their dline is a little better...even all around...I don't know what happened to them but we actually had a few players that might play for them.
