Lost in all of the news of the Democrat's retaking the House, is what's been happening to their most reliable voting block...African Americans. Trump has managed to carve out an initially small, but now growing chunk of that traditional Democrat support, to the point now where honest projections of it approaching the next election cycle place it well past 40%! That spells doom to the Democrat party's hopes of ever winning national elections again.
So what's happened? Well, for starters Blacks aren't buying the constant haranguing from the Left that Trump's a racist. Not when Blacks are steadily making economic gains under his policies (Black unemployment is at all time historic lows) Additionally, many of Trump's outreach efforts to restore and revitalize inner cities are starting to show real results. I could post them here but none of you Leftists would accept it, just as you all refuse to even recognize this growing support for Trump among African Americans. That's cool. Doesn't matter, it's happening.
So here's my question seriously. What are you on the Left going to do about this? You are staring political oblivion right smack dab in the face if you don't come up with an agenda to stop this bleeding among your most loyal followers. "Trump's a racist" is not working. What else have 'ya got? This is the key battleground in the 2020 election. Seriously.
I'm talking in terms of a specific legislative agenda, or policies that will make a difference and bring your most dedicated voters back? I don't expect any answers from the maniacal 'kook fringe' Left like @moe , or @RichardPeterJohnson or @Boomboom521 or @countryroads89 , or @Original Mountaineer1 or @MountaineerWV , or @Keyser76 or @bamaEER or @CpEER even @WVUCOOPER...I'm asking some of you more thoughtful Leftists ...such as @mule_eer , @popmurtha , @Op2 , or @Bulya ....the ones who can carry a rational thought without going off on the deep end of hysteria.
What does the Left offer Blacks? What can they honestly propose to improve on the current record low unemployment among African Americans? How will they appeal to the growing Black entrepreneur class under Trump, and the growing Black middle class now approaching rough parity with national median incomes among Whites? Is the Democrat party even aware of how much trouble it's in with these folks?
