I have an inkling. But even if it were true, it shouldn't be brought up in any situation, coded or uncoded.

Thus what chito said.

Is this some sort of inside joke? Because I do not understand this post at all...

He is joking that we are paying recruits on the basketball side now.

Such a good class + basketball/shoe company scandal= joke

But he forgot the most important ingredient....time.

Either has to be immeadiately relevant or long enough it's common knowledge.

Otherwise a tasty morsel, just kind of fell in between on his time.

U r such a riot. Fab comeback.

Don't embarrass yourself like you do on the conference board.

Tigersmoke:
"Well I try not to respond to your jibberish because I honestly think that something is wrong with you, but since you are using me as your example I'll say this. I think you're seem to be unstable at best and your problem appears to be more about memphians but you use the basketball team as your way to not seem unhinged. My previous post that you're responding to was not to you or about you and I'll never degrade an entire city because I hate your team
.I normally just read your posts and chuckle at your borderline obsession with something that really doesn't have a damm thing to do with you. So I promise I'll go back to ignoring and just laughing at you from afar. You are neither funny nor entertaining and the sick part about it is that I don't think you are even trying to be. So please let's just ignore one another.
"

Bye, bye.

Why is everyone so pissed off about stupid crap? Shon's the one who posted an off-the-wall question with the basketball coach's name on the football board. Pretty silly if you ask me. No reason for anyone to get all cranky. If there is some deeper meaning, I could give a f*ck.

I have no idea what the original question had to do with...but I moved the thread to the basketball board, since it's basketball related...I think.

You'll have to excuse gmoney, he doesn't do bad jokes.

He also thinks he is some sort of arbitrator.

Bye, bye.

You know at some point you should just stop. You often go off on name calling tangents and don't add anything to a conversation.

If you would like feel free to post in that thread on the conference board, which is where it belongs.

You fit in well with those Memphis posters.

As I pointed out some of your fans just can't admit that Memphis was wrong to hire Tubby, wrong to agree to his plan, wrong to hold him at fault for running off the Lawsons because they had no accountability, which is also a reflection of the fan base who still whines about the departure, wrong for putting the blame on Tubby for the abysmal state of the program Pastner created.

Read Chris Beard's comments about what Tubby left him, a foundation to build on, an accountability to the program from the players, and a lack of I am bigger than the game attitudes. Tubby built the same thing at Memphis, we will see if it continues now those players are gone and the culture is being established by Penny.

We live in a world where people just want to fight. I’m working late at the office because I have a brief due in a rare case where my clients were 100% right and did the right thing and the other side was 100% wrong and is truly awful. And we kicked their *** and they are all butthurt about it, and they get to appeal, just to make me have stay up here late at night a few nights in a row remembering how much of a POS this litigant truly was. I’d rather be doing something else, but until we come up with something better than free speech, due process, and the need to be right, this is what we got.

That’s not a consolation and I probably just wasted another 45 seconds of your life. :captain:

The "need to be right" is the real problem...humility and humbleness have somehow severely faded away over the past 15 years or so. Everyone has a right to their own opinion, but many now think they have the right to their own set of facts...and that just isn't the case.

I see it every day in social media, news media, law, etc.

Speaking of quoting out of context, you've been banned there too and had to get a new id to get around that ban. You should have erased your post, but you are too pigheaded to think about what it said, and admit to yourself it was not a good thing to post. So you tried and failed to be the comeback king. I'm through with this thread, and I'm through talking to you.

I apologize to the rest of the board for bringing in sidebar posts about the conference board. They were unrelated.

My point was the forever2 post about $ was a bad take, that never should have been posted. IMO this whole thread and the references about $ should never have been posted. You don't play around when talking about $ in this context. It can only bring bad juju to a program, to even speak about this. It never brings anything good, and hopefully just dies out. I hope that is the case here.

Ugh. We are entering the summer doldrums, where not much will be going on. Expect more of this type of thread.

I once learned that after election season, KKKFAQ’s ratings go way down and country music ratings go way up. Just sayin.

Yeah exactly. But some people won’t back down, even when it’s too costly to continue on and makes no sense to keep fighting. I imagine people always did that, but it seems to happen a lot now. People aren’t willing to let others live. They want to keep kicking them.

I have so many tell me that this minor thing I’m working on is the worst thing that ever happened to them. Every once in awhile I will send them a docket from one of my truly ugly cases. Sometimes they get it and sometimes they don’t.

You have a problem with shon46, I explained the joke,in response to GoldenCaneKC's question in the thread.

I would ask you to keep your ire properly focused, but we all know that's not how irrational anger works.

I look forward to your name next name-calling outburst and attempted banishment of me.

This is a well stated and rational thought. What's it doing in this thread?

Anyone who was actually worried that a badly constructed message board joke, referencing a prominent FBI investigation, would get Tulsa in trouble can sleep well tonight. We were cleared.

This sounds familiar. Did Pats hack GMoney's ID?
If I do this 24/7 then u can suspect hacking. Every once in awhile Pats needs quoting.

That mention on tape that I already heard about is one of the reasons I didn't think this thread was a good idea. They are already aware we were on the periphery. It's too late now. At this point all you can say is que sera.

Let's all talk about this until August.

If you respond, why don't you pay attention to the entire post you are responding to.

So then your earlier responses weren't really well founded were they?

The name calling, the crazy selective post from another board earlier, trying to get me to delete a post because of someone else's joke, don't really sound calm and rational if it was already too late do they?
