Alums and players have been told. News should break soon. Will post unless someone does first after it does.

Thank you Lord. Seremet's stale offense was brutal the last 3 years.

It was tough, but let's also give him some praise. He was the OC on our FF team and did some great work while he was here.

The next OC will run what would be considered a more modern offense but really was being done long ago. What's old is new. Defenses are more advanced now though and the nuances of the game need to be coached more than anything. Things like lever passes need to be constantly repped to keep up with the more advanced defenses. There is a lot to it, that's just one small example.

Huge opportunity for the program though. There is a very obvious choice that would be a grand slam.

New OC should have some analytics backing as well. All of the other sports use analytics today (football in particular).

Great opportunity to bring in a fresh offensive perspective. Not sure if this is true or not but I suspect that Brian got more involved in the offense letter in the season accounting for some of the improvement, along with the natural development of young players.

I am sure Brian has a good sense of what he wants to see out of the offense going forward. Bieda is the obvious prize but Michigan won’t part with him easily. Aside from him, we should have lots of great options. We are a top 5-10 destination and Brian is very well respected in coaching circles. Whoever we land I expect it will be a good addition.
