It’s my opinion that creating a defensively focused team is an excellent way to break out of being a doormat of a league because it doesn’t require talent, but effort.

Eventually you need to shift to becoming more of a threat offensively to actually hit the next level of success.

Curious to hear your guys thoughts on this, and do you anticipate Rutgers every shifting to more of an offensive focus under Pike. Or is this the identity we will keep?

How bad is this roster heading into next year any why has pike struggled so much to recruit NJ talent despite top level facilities?

Do you think Pike will attack the portal for win now players? Juco?

Does he use scholarships on freshman looking for a rebuild?

Some combination of both?

Problem with rebuild mode would be wasting Cliff's best year before he potentially goes pro and it's not like Cliff is a talent we get here often
