The promise zones were just like those "shovel ready" jobs he promised after that Socialist style porkulus stimulus plan. It was just an empty promise... Just like the shovel ready jobs were not so shovel ready, and the promised promise zones never materialized as promised. That's why Black unemployment hit record highs during his administration and now sits at record lows.

We are trying to get special desgination for the enterprise zones written into the Tax code which doesn't require Congresssional approval, simply a change in the rules in the IRS code. The only ones fighting changing those designations on the Ways and Means committee which controls how taxes are collected are Leftist Democrats!
Why?
Because if the enterprise zones are allowed to flourish and more Black owned businesses and investment results from it Democrats will lose the Black votes they depend on to keep themselves in power and handing out Food stamps to poor Blacks instead of paychecks.

Government doesn't build businesses. Trump is getting Government rules and regulations and restrictions out of the way so entrepreneurs and investors and private enterprise can build the businesses, improve the infrastructure, create the markets, design the products and deliver the services that require people to be hired and get paid doing all of that.
