He was at one of our games earlier this year. Walked the sideline like an unknown. Had my son take a pic with him, class act. Googled him that night to see what he was up to and couldn’t find anything.

I saw him walk into a game this year. He walked in the new "no bag" entrance and his ticket wouldn't scan. Held up the line for quite a while. No one else knew who he was as he's put on a fair amount of weight. Gave a big "Carroooooo!" just to make sure, and he waved. Had a very brief interaction with him and he was on his way.

He was a real nice receiver - who I think would have had a better career at RU (and after) if he had Schiano as HC
He had his chance in the NFL, didn’t pan out. GS couldn’t do anything about that, it’s all on the player

He was about as dominant of a college receiver you could have. Reminiscent of Sanu. We were really spoiled those years. Their play covered a lot of deficiencies, particularly the Sanu years.

It's a tragedy that the high level WR talent wasn't matched with better offensive coaching.

He was a great college receiver, incredible hands. I remember he ripped an underthrown ball away from an OSU defender that was ready for the pick, and a different one where he juked a defender by putting up his hands as to catch in stride then curling around to catch an underthrown ball. He was thick for a WR so maybe a just slightly below NFL speed, and you need it all to last.

I could have sworn LC would have been the better NFL WR vs Sanu (nothing against Sanu). I thought he was a 'can't miss' in the NFL - not HOF or even All Pro career necessarily, but certainly a solid one. His arrest was really a blip on the radar to me - thought he not only had the talent, but all the intangibles (leadership, hard working, etc.). I don't know a lot of background about him in the NFL - but maybe the Dolphins were just the wrong situation for him (gotta imagine this happens to a ton of players)? Maybe he wasn't mentally into it or maybe his talent just didn't translate? Who knows? Either way a loyal son, and one of the best WRs we've ever had - good luck with the rest of your life LC!

I don’t know . He had a great career here , even with shaky quarterback play .
It was sad how this board turned on him after a bad arrest . I even told everyone it was bad and charges would be dropped and he would be reinstated. Not this board’s finest moment

I believe he was RUs record holder for TD receptions.

I think if Britt had never played for Schiano and played only for Flood instead, the outcome for Britt might not have been too good. Schiano reeled Britt in a few times. Flood was a Popsicle and back-pat guy.

Carroo had a lot of talent but there seemed to be a drift mentally. Maybe he just didn't like football that much. He was suspended by the Dolphins for four games for substance abuse. That pretty much ended his career with Miami and the NFL.

Teams were a little wary to draft Carroo after RU suspension. The Miami suspension was on top of that. From what I read, he didn't start out in NFL too happy with his third round draft spot (and Miami had traded-up to get him).
