Is Selling Tix also a Notre Dame fan? I suspect so.....

There are $6 tickets ON THE SIDELINES on StubHub.

Go away, unless “negotiable” means $20 total for all of them.

You shouldn't be allowed to post tix for sale without a price. This isn't a blind bid and go with the highest offer.

Yup - the minimum you can post for on Stubhub is $6. I'm happy to get any number of dollars to be totally honest.

I was not :)
I figured as much. Too bad but not hard to understand:)

Full transparency, I'm an ND fan who bought season tickets knowing it would be cheaper than buying individual tickets for when ND comes to town.

Already sold the Michigan and Nebraska tickets and should have a Wisconsin buyer lined up which just about covers the entire cost of the season.

Did not think it would be so difficult to sell a P5 OOC game like Duke to be honest. Somehow I'm not holding out much hope that I'll get any nibbles for Akron.....

Indeed. You will likely have to eat the tickets for Duke, Akron, and Illinois.

That's what it's looking like. There are worse things, though. I should at least breakeven between Michigan, Nebraska, and Wisconsin.

put them on tickpick for $3. Otherwise give them away. Same with akron and illinois.

Why did you think that NU fans would be willing to help you out given the circumstances? Do you think we want to erode our home field advantage by encouraging opposing fans to employ the same strategy you utilized? We'll see you on November 3rd and I hope you have a very unpleasant evening!

I'm sorry you're so offended that I'd want to come to your campus to watch a football game?

I had tickets that I was looking to sell and figured a Northwestern fan board might be a good place. If for some reason that strikes you as a dastardly plan, then I'm not sure I quite understand the logic.

Either way, whenever it is that Northwestern next plays in South Bend, I hope you have a very nice evening and people treat you well (and that the afternoon ends in a loss :)).

I am not offended that you'd want to come to our campus to watch a football game. I am offended that you think diehard NU football fans would facilitate the attendance of large numbers of the opposing team's fans at our games by supporting the strategy you employed for the sake of saving a few bucks on game tickets. No self respecting NU fan should buy tickets from you. Do you think ND fans would react favorably if the roles were reversed? From my perspective, I look forward to the day that opposing fans (particularly ND fans) can only get into Ryan Field by purchasing a ticket from the visiting team allotment or paying through the nose in the secondary market. Until then, this rant will have to suffice.

Glad you ponied up to help NU Football and I certainly don’t begrudge your efforts to make it work financially. I just don’t think of this board as a place to sell tickets. If you want to give them away, that would be much more in the spirit of the board, especially since there are so many secondary marketplaces for selling tickets.

Aw, dont worry about Corbi. He's a good guy, just a little feisty. Many of us around here don't care for Notre Dame. I'm not one of them. I cheer, cheer for old Notre Dame, except when the Irish are playing the Cats.
