I did not see the game live but have watched the highlights. I looked at Sellers' numbers and figured they must be due to UF's bad pass defense. But the highlights show he was completing balls to receivers who were pretty well covered, including at least 2 of the TD passes. Sellers made a nice throw and Harbor actually went up to grab it for the TD. I saw several other throws where he was fitting the ball into some decently tight windows. Not every completion, of course, but the numbers weren't just padded with wide opens receivers every play.

Hopefully it's something that can be built on for the 6-game stretch to end the season and not a one-off performance.

He's a 50/50 dude. 30 starts, 15 good games.

It's boom or bust. If the opponents defense is above average, it's likely to be bust.

We get Tenn at home but...

their pass rush and solid coverage are the type defense that gives Sellers trouble, forcing holds on the ball, inaccurate/forced throws, and inefficient production under pressure.

It's likely to be a bust, maybe even a blowout if Sellers turns the ball over two or more times.

In order to get a win, the OL has to show up huge, Sellers needs to find an early rhythm, and he must use his legs effectively.

I'm expecting a bust. Not being a negative nancy, that's just the likely outcome.

But we have a chance. Home crowd needs to be crazy!

I saw a replay of the TD pass to Mazeo - the view was from the back of the endzone. It was BEAUTIFUL to watch Sellers take the snap, take his drop, find Bennett, and quickly rip the ball right into that tight window! The throw was right where it needed to be - MB went down and got it. The whole play looked like one of those nice plays that other, good teams always make, but we NEVER do!! It was just a thing of beauty!!!

The td to Harbor and that one to Mazeo were elite throws; these aren’t made by luck or accident. Keeps throwing those that nfl stock will pick up, ESPECIALLY if he can dial in those long balls just a smidge.

The one thing I noticed that concerns me was he seemed to lock in on one receiver on each play, staring them down the whole time. Only saw him look for more than one on a few of them. Question is: was that by design or is he not going through progressions? If it's the latter, it could be a problem against good defenses. If it's the former, it seems a bit simplistic and limiting.

We'll see what happens going forward.
