He only completed 80% of his passes for 301 yards and three touchdowns against a top 10 pass defense that has allowed an average of 60% completions and 156 yards.

And not to mention Sellers ran like a man on a mission last night. The first time he ran the ball he took off for a big gain. When he runs like that, he's a force to be reckoned with.

Finally he hit DJ Black on a deep route. He had him last week and then earlier in the game. The throw to Harbor in the back of the end zone is the one that impressed me. This is definately a different La Norris, more like the 2024 version. I really hate that Fuller was hurt but did you see the power that Augustine had on his runs?

He's Jekyll and Hyde though.... Never know which sellers you're gonna get
Been saying since before he went on his tear in '24, he goes as far as his confidence takes him. When he's not confident he's second guessing everything, he holds the ball too long, misses reads, makes bad choices, has his mechanics breakdown. If you watch the VT game last year, he's still a good player on a bad offense, hitting the few guys that get open and breaking tackles. Then he immediately started falling apart. It took him forever, but he's not thinking, because he's not doubting. He's just playing and when he does that he excels.

He is not a great QB, he is a great athlete playing QB, there is a difference. He is wildly inconsistent, he is prone to making far too many turnovers when passing, as we observed yesterday. That pick six he threw yesterday was pitiful. Furthermore, he would be just as effective running the ball as a running back. During his time here he has made some incredibly stupid and costly turnovers at critical moments. Yes, he is a great athlete, not argument there, but great qb, absolutely not.

Hey, a win streak is all it took to bring Madden boy out of hiding.

What impressed me was he looked to run but kept his eyes downfield for the explosive pass play. The TDs to Black and Bennett exhibited that. This is the type of QB he can be at the next level. If you are looking for a Peyton Manning or a Tom Brady type, Lanorris is never going to be your guy. However, Lanorris can be a Cam Newton type that can hurt you with his legs or a John Elway type that can get out of the pocket and make explosive pass plays with a cannon-like arm.

Even Chizik who coached Cam at Auburn was willing to make comparisons last night while commentating. Outside of the two picks, it was a Newtonesqe performance. If Sellers runs and passes like this, we have a legit chance in every game.

Agreed. Wildly inconsistent is howni always think of him. When he is off, he can be really off. But he's in thr middle of an "on" streak.

The only real question is if we keep him in that zone for the rest of the season.

Sellers has to seek to avoid plays like the Pick 6 yesterday. Throw it away or take the sack. Live to play on another down instead of making the back breaking turnover. However, a QB is going to sail a ball every now and then. The receiver was open on that second pick. The safety just got the pick on the overthrow. I prefer Sellers be confident and overthrow a pass every now and then over the guy that was thinking too much and holding onto the ball earlier in the season.

Who gives a shat if he's a great QB? Winning absolves any discrepancies.
Right! Everybody not pulling for USC better be glad he's not a qb. That would be dangerous. He's a football player. If he was a QB, he'd be starting for the Raiders right now and we would be wearing 2025 NCAA Football Champion shirts. We'll get ours one day. Man it's fun to watch when he's on.

This is one of the dumbest threads ever and that's saying alot.

Sellers most likely will be a Top 10/20 QB pick in the NFL draft.

If he can keeping playing like he has the last few games, he'll be in New York as a Heisman candidate.

Not sure if a light switched on with Fuller leaving game but he took off like a horse with every carry last night. Okay, I'm done celebrating. On to A&M.
I’m not done celebrating yet. We don’t see many wins like that. The team needs to move on. Not gonna care about A&M till Saturday.
