I don't know that you've done this, but I've seen other Kansas fans use the time frames that we've played them as an excuse for the lopsided overall head to head.

Self got 3 of his 5 wins against Tubby in some of the worst years in our history. Last year should have an asterisk too for the blatant home cooking that gave Kansas the win.

This thread is about Calipari versus Self relative to Kentucky vs Kansas.

Kansas fans may not admit it, but they'd happily turn in a few of those conference titles for a few extra final fours.

One of the most overrated conferences of the last decade which is why it's not just Kansas but that conference as a whole sucks in the tourney.

I've got a better theory....maybe Self just sucks as a tournament couch. For that reason conference titles would never cut it at UK. Paging Tubby Smith

Fact is Self is Tubby Smith at Kansas.

There is a reason Self's teams do not do well in the tourney. You can't bash Cal for losing in the final 4 & excuse Self first losing so often in the 1st round. That's just stupid! Go get you a sign

Again. This thread wasn't Self vs Kentucky. It's Cal versus Self as it pertains to Kansas versus UK. The only relevant time frame is from 2009-10 when Cal took over, to the present day. It's 3-2 Cal. And the margin of victory is quite heavily in our favor. Both of Kansas wins were squeakers.
