Wow! So Kansas just went "All-In" on Bill Self and they're telling the NCAA "bite me!" Well, that's one way to go. I think it's very telling. They either have been given indication that nothing will ever come of the infractions or they just don't think the NCAA has the guts to really do anything to them.

It is a payoff from Kansas, once the Hammer comes down Bill takes the bullet but is paid forever to not mention other issues at the school.

Nothing to lose from here. They have the most damning list of infractions of the programs listed. This has to make Wade's day. NCAA is finished.

If Kansas and LSU get no penalty does this break the illusion for those few left who believe that college basketball is not a business and amateurism is real. UNC should have put an end to that.

I don’t really care about the purity of “amateurism” as an ideal, so much as I want every Division 1 team to have a reasonable and competitive chance at the players and therefore at building a top program and winning.

Now one could argue that most schools never had a chance, but it’s well and truly gone out the door when you allow blue bloods to pay players more than most schools could afford.

Can't blame them. It doesn't mean I support their cheating, but it's been proven that teams that cheat are better off not cooperating with the NCAA. At least that's true if you're considered a blue blood, and Kansas qualifies.
unless you’re kentucky

Louisville has to be kicking themselves for not taking the UNC route and telling the NCAA to take a hike.
